Barriers - Taehyung || Complete

Ch. 37

"I've been hiding a secret from you and I need to say it now."

What is Taehyung doing?

"I have been practicing to say everything in english because this is very important to me." Taehyung said and he took something out of his pocket. It was the translator. "You see, I have been using this translator to talk with someone who couldn't speak korean. She used to work with us and I had the amazing opportunity to get to know her. This person was a huge part of my life and well...she's not in it anymore."

He's talking about me...My eyes widened and my heart started beating fast. I don't know where he's going with this but my full attention is on him now. 

He continued. "Our next song is going to be We are Bulletproof: The Eternal. It is our way to show our eternal love to each other and to ARMY. But to this particular ARMY...I want to show my eternal love to her."

He looked over to my area until he made eye contact with me, making me jump a little. Lisa stared at me, mouth wide open, and the other fans surrounding me started turning their heads to me. 

"Y/n...I broke your heart because I was afraid of the consequences if we were ever found out by the crazy fans. But I don't care anymore. This whole year without you has been terrible. The second you left my life I regretted it. I am in love with you, y/n." The whole auditorium filled with gasps and murmurs. "I don't care what happens after this. The only thing that matters is being with you. And I hope you still want to be with me."

I put my hand on my heart, trying to calm the insane speed it was going. My eyes were filling up with tears, and the void I never knew I had, was filling in. The love I felt for Taehyung was put away for so long but now that he is standing in front of me, telling the whole world how he feels, it just confirms what I felt -- that I have always loved Taehyung. 

The stadium filled with many 'awws' and applause. I could hear the few 'boos' and screaming here and there but I didn't care. This is going to be expected...and I think in time I will get used to it. 

I smiled at Taehyung and nodded my head, letting the tears fall. I giggled and started wiping them away with the help of Lisa who also couldn't help but tear up at this wonderful moment. 

Taehyung let out a huge breath and turned his attention back to everyone. "Even though I love her, it will never change the love I have for the rest of ARMY." He then bowed his head low. "I hope everyone will forgive me for keeping this secret. But I didn't want to keep this hidden from my best friends anymore. All of you are my best friends and I hope this lasts forever."

"ARMY, we love you!" Jimin shouted. 

Cheers started to fill the room again as if they just forgot what happened. What's important is that they came here to see a group because of their amazing music and their message to always show love and support. I hope after today, that's what we'll see, and BTS won't hurt from it. 

The song was starting to play and since it was the last song, the members would be walking all over the stage to say their final goodbyes.

When I first heard this song, it really touched my heart. The struggles they went through as a group and the bond they formed with each other and their fans, no one can ever break that. There was not one dry eye in the stadium -- even the guys couldn't hold it together. It just shows that everything they have been through was worth every second. 

We all waved our ARMY bombs left to right, singing along. When the bridge was coming, Taehyung started making his way to me. He walked down the steps and made his way to me.

He sang in front of me and held my hand. Despite the thousands of people here, it felt like we were the only two people in the room. The chorus started back up again and he grabbed my face with both of his hands and pulled me in, trapping me in his lips. The camera panned to us for the whole stadium to see. I mostly heard cheering and it made me feel that our outcome will be bright. I felt him smiling through the kiss and I felt like my heart could explode at any moment. He let go of the kiss and our foreheads rested against each other, while the rest of the guys continued singing the song. I smiled and mouthed 'go' so he could go back on stage.
