Barriers - Taehyung || Complete

Ch. 38

The car ride to the hotel was the only part that made me feel safe. As soon as I stepped out of the venue there were a lot of fans that found their way to the back, pointing their cameras at me. Even though I heard a lot of support during the concert, I'm sure it only drowned out the bundle of fans who aren't happy. They bombarded me with questions and threats on my way to the car. 

Lisa held my hand the whole time on our way to the car. The securities paved the way for us to make it to the car safely. Everything was so overwhelming, I wasn't sure how to handle it. 

The car I drove in had to make many different turns to lose anyone that might have been following. Once we arrived at the hotel, it felt normal. There weren't any cameras, there were't any fans. It was a nice feeling. 

Lisa and I were taken to the suite where the after party is at, and where the guys are already at. 

"I still can't believe I'm going to meet them." Lisa said nervously. 

I chuckled. "Don't worry, I think they'll like you just fine. Just don't act like a crazed fan in front of them."

Lisa nodded. "Got it."

We thanked the security for taking us safely to the room and they opened the door for us, revealing a fancy huge suite overlooking the city. In the middle of it was a buffet table and a separate table full of drinks. 

"Oh, you guys made it!" Amy said as she came into the room. "Did you get here okay? How was it?"

"It was a little weird, but the car ride was okay. I'm just glad to be here."

"Well this is something you're going to have to get used to. Come, the guys are in the other room."

Amy led us into the other room that had a fireplace and a pool table. Namjoon and Jin were going up against Hoseok and Jungkook in pool. while the rest were resting on the couches, having a drink. When we entered the room, all of them turned their attention in our direction and immediately stopped what they were doing and headed over to me excitedly.

"Noona!" Jungkook embraced me in a hug first, jumping me up and down. 

I giggled out loud, feeling happy tears start forming in my eyes. One by one each of them gave me a hug so long it felt like I wasn't going to see them again. They all kept the translators that were given to them and we all talked together, catching up on the year that we didn't see each other. I introduced them to Lisa and she used my translator to communicate with them. She couldn't help herself when she got really excited and asked them for an autograph. Being very understanding, they all signed some merchandise and gave it for her to keep. After that, she was able to act normal around them. 

Taehyung stayed in the background, letting me talk to everyone else before I would give him my full attention. I could see him smile lovingly at me, happy that we're back together. 

After talking to everyone I made my way to Taehyung while everyone watched. He already declared his love to me in front of thousands of people, I didn't care that everyone here was staring as I walked to him. 

It felt like a movie. The guy and the girl meet each other after so long and everyone is there to see the reunion and can't help but feel happy for them. All the guys' eyes were widened with happiness, anticipating the moment when Taehyung and I finally become one again. 

I was now inches away from Taehyung, and we looked each other in the eyes. 

"Hi," I nervously said. 

He exhaled through his nose and smiled, tucking a hair behind my ear. "I missed you."

It felt new hearing him speak in english, and that just shows me how hard he worked to make sure tonight went smoothly.
