Chapter 6.5: Under the Rainbow 😏

     Wow!!! So much easier than over thinking the changes. 😁 Just delete it completely! 😋 I'm so dumb sometimes... 😅

Lightning's Perspective
     It's January 18th, my 21st birthday!!
     "Hey!! Cindy!!" I yelled. "What we doin' today?"
"Well... I know how much you love fighting demons sooo. I got us an exclusive demon hunt in a beautiful place!!"
     "No way!! You totally get me!!" I hugged her as she grabbed my ass.
     She tugged on my ear lightly towards her lips. "We can do all sorts of things there.~"
     All of my buttons are pressed.

     We were transported to a wooded area with a plain next to it. Cindy held the map that guided us to the second safe area.
There were two types of Lesser Demons that we encountered.
One was very intelligent and the other type was very agile.

Cindy staying in the back, letting me fight them. With my Gaia Magic, I was able to crush them left and right. I use a little bit of enhancement so I was able to get up close and bash their heads in.

     It was to the point that I was so tired, sexually and physically, Cindy had to step in a bit.
     This was probably one of the few times I felt that my voice was so loud. "A-are we th-there yet?" I was huffing and heaving.
     "Don't worry, we're almost there."

     It was magnificent.

     "Woah! This is amazing!" I spin around in the tranquility here. There were small spirits flying around. As we walked, there was this weird, almost gross feeling that went over my entire body. I looked at her.
     "Yeah. I felt it too. I believe it's the barrier that keeps Lesser Demons out and weakens other types."

     We had set up a picnic that she made. And to be honest, she can't cook. I joyfully ate the blackened soup and white grilled cheese. How did she mess it up so bad? I've wondered the same thing for years.
     "You know, if you don't like it, you don't have to eat it."
     My eyes went wide. "Of course I'll eat it!! It makes me so happy you'd even do this for me!!"
Her eyes were flat and blank. "So, you like it." She stated it as emotionless as her eyes were.

     We had finally gotten up and cleaned our area. I was finally hit with the soreness in between my legs and effectively couldn't walk. Lightning carried me with a smile, but I could tell his legs were weak from that workout too.

Let me just tell you, it was wild. The amazing security and emotions were overwhelming! And every time, I know that Cindy is the one for me. ☺️

     We were headed towards the portal when a Higher Demon showed up from nowhere.

     "Dammit!!" Lightning strained.
If we were in top shape, one of us should be equal, but both of us are completely tired.
     "Lightning!! Leave me here and get help!! I'll hold it off!"

A little bit of gore from here on.

     I noticed his Magic surging as debris and dust collected into a large sphere above the beast. It slammed down into it. "Woah! Was that your Cypher?"
     He looked at me with his sunset eyes glowing brightly, "Don't ever tell anyone! I don't even want to hear about this again — Promise!" He was very adamant about this.
     We were walking away until the boulder began to crack and turn to dust. The Demon was bleeding and had a broken arm, but overall was fine. It lounged straight at us and Lightning couldn't react in time. I used my Cyclone Magic to blow us and the Demon away from each other.
     We both sighed in relief until its growling caused us to shudder as it pounced from the woods. I used blue fire to burn our surroundings, but it didn't seem to faze it as it kept charging.
     A large rock flung into its face, knocking it back. I took this chance to use a cyclone to rip off the arm that wasn't completely limp.
     Magic surged into the ground and created an earth pike that went straight through its torso, leaving entrails out and about. The sickly red turned pink with green bile. But it kept coming. Lightning tripped up and used his body to protect me against the claws, but I toasted it from the inside and outside thanks to the hole and my blue flames.
     "I hope you've had enough of the demon fighting for a while." I said with a sigh of relief.
     "Yeah!! At least until after we recover.~"
