Chapter 8c: Beach Day Surprise

Percy's Perspective
It's been about a week after my parents met Jackson.
We were watching tv when an alert on the tv went off. It said there was a war declaration from Russia on us, the US. We changed the channel to the news.
They had brought an entire army to face us. It was said because we hold too much power by being the only ones with World-Class Hunters and having a lot of the Intercontinentals. It was ironic when Obsidian was the one to face them.
That's when Russia's strongest Continent-Class Hunter, Raiga came striding over. His height eclipsed that of Obsidian.

Obsidian's Perspective
"Oh, hey Raiga. How's it going!? Long time no see!" I raised out my hand in friendliness, but it was swatted away. "Well that's not very nice."
His seemingly hoarse voice was natural and rough, "I'm not here to make friends today. I'm here to destroy you!"
I made sure I was pointed away from cameras and opened my eyes. He backed away slowly and cautiously. I see. I closed my eyes and smiled. "Do what you got to do."
He launched himself with a broad-spear in hand. I had to dodge it considering its ability to exponentially drain energy.
I grabbed the spear and a large, dark sword appeared in my hand as I swung downwards. He stopped it with his hand and kicked me away. Dang! This is going to be a little harder than I thought. I can't hurt him.
Snow fell all around and I could feel my Magic slowly drift away. He came back with a myriad of thrusts and my slowing speed didn't help as my face and body was cut up.
"HHAAA!!! Seems you're not all that tough after all! Looks like I'm going to pick off your family one at a time!"
I stood up straight and opened my eyes wide. He rapidly tried to get into a stance. I know your intentions and you've got my attention. Before he was even ready I had already slammed his head into the ground. The snow stopped and I closed my eyes.
The Russians started to hail us indiscriminately with missiles. I protected us using a Magic barrier, but was stabbed in the chest by Raiga, my barrier fell just after the barrage. "J-just so you know.. your country was firing without regard, 'sssthe' to you."
"What are you talking about!" He looked around to see the shells of used missiles and was dumbfounded. I was still being held up by his spear, but sliced several bullets coming at him with a sword.
He pulled it out of my chest and surrendered.

Percy's Perspective
It was the next day. Me and Jack are going to the beach. He said he wanted to tell me something about his family.
I was intrigued since he never said anything specific about them except with his mom, at my house. I hope Obsidian is okay. I love Obsidian, as a Hunter, because not only is he strong, but is so kind and caring.

We arrived with swimming trunks on and I watched as all the ladies were staring at Jackson. He's mine! I grabbed his arm and laid my head on his broad shoulder. Some looked away as others seemed jealous.

It was nice. We played in the water, which I won of course. We had snacks and he was leaving to get some sodas. I laid back under the parasol and relaxed until I felt uneasy. I heard screaming and woke up immediately.
It was a bunch of fans chasing after... Obsidian!!? I was so excited, but didn't want to bother him so I tried to ignore the itching in my mind.
"Hello Percy!" I looked to see Obsidian.
I blushed. "I-I can't believe you remembered my name."
"Well I remember the face and names of all my fans. Especially since we might become really familiar with each other."
"W-what do you-"
"Percy!!!" It was Jackson coming back.
He handed me a cold Sprite. "U-umm. Obsidian i-is h-here!" My voice trembling.
Jackson stood closer to him. "I called him here."
"W-w-wait!! What!!? Y-you called the most famous person in the world to the beach!!"
"W-well yeah. My brother wanted to meet you outside a match."
I almost threw up. "Brother!"
Obsidian bent down and nuzzled Jack in the face, in which Jackson didn't take it too well. "Of course! Jackson is my little brother. Jackson McKnight."
I was about to collapse, the biggest bomb was just dropped on me. I'm dating a McKnight.

Jacky convinced him to spar with the both of us at the beach. I thought we held the advantage considering all the water and Jacks electricity would be conducted extremely well. But he flung us far out into the ocean like it was nothing.

To be honest, Obsidian can be like a child, he loves playing and teasing, but he was nice and once you got passed his intimidating size, talking with him is easy and natural.
We played cards, different boards games, we surfed, and he even drove us to an amazing seafood restaurant for lunch, though he didn't eat much. It seemed like he just wanted to see us smiling. We left.

People came in truckloads to watch and take videos of us walking until a woman came up and began beating on Obsidian. It was the oldest sibling, Alabaster.

"Why are you out here playing!!? You need rest from your injuries!!"
"Allie!!? I'm fine you don't need to worry!" He was scratching the back of his head nervously. She calmly got close up to him, then suddenly punched him in the gut. He fell like a log in a great amount of pain.
A large patch of his fur on his chest just disappeared like it was never there. "Illusions." She laughed a bit. "You think you could trick me when you don't even have much Magic left!" She was enraged... And then started to beat on him with her feet. "ARE YOU AN IDIOT OR SOMETHING!! STOP PLAYING YOU DUMBASS!!" She began healing him with orbs of light, then carried him off somewhere.
