First Book of the 'Fur Now' Series
Percy, a human college student, begins school in a prominent Magic University. He meets a German Shepard named, Jackson, who immediately falls head over heels for him. However, unbeknownst to one, the other, holds...
Okay guys, I'm about to tell you what's up. I've decided to end this book, but don't worry, I'm starting another one. The next chapter will be the last. I know lately the chapters have had a more serious tone, so if you can hang on, I promise it will truly mellow out. But for now, large action scene.😋
Obsidian's Perspective "I can't believe you lied to the freakin' Orb of Truth! And because of your timing, we can't go on a retrial. So I guess we have no choice but to release you to your house." "Yeah, can't wait to have these things off.~" I heard a hiss out of the officials that were escorting me. "Aren't you ashamed!? You went against your own, probably in some selfish ambitions!! And you call yourself a Hunter!?" "I admit my intentions are selfish. I want something for everyone without their consent. But at least I admit I'm selfish. People tend to say lots of things that are good on paper, but when it comes down to it, they don't care." I looked up at the dark clouds hovering above the crowds of angry people. Their voices were a big part of the sour wind.
I sensed a fast moving demon coming in the direction of the citizens. So it's him... Even though I was being escorted home, and paraded in the city for no actual reason, I still had cuffs on. I jumped above the crowd, Mr. Leslie yelling something at me, and was knocked out of the sky by a memorable fuzz-ball.

Well, that hurt a bit. I had crashed into a building. Luckily I could still use a bit of Magic to soften the blow. A small dust cloud wrapped me in its eerie embrace. I could sense another attack coming, I opened my left eye. The heart in its center glowing faintly. Quickly maneuvering my arms and body, I was able to get them in front of me to help against the assault. A downward slash went right through the chains that kept my powers restricted. A single-edged sword was spawned in my hand. darkness swirled around it smoothly like butter. It was swift, one movement. It went by like in slow motion in my mind. The small gray bundle was in two. He almost showed no emotion until the end. It was quiet for a moment, cameras zooming in on the child-like demon and people still in awe. "Everyone!!! RUN!!!" I used as much power in my voice to command the people, they sorta panicked - and that's how I basically caused a riot. Okay, not my best work... The two pieces swirled like a vortex and shaped into two of the annoyingly powerful shadow. Their arms extended. The only thing I can compare them to is a large hose. They fired a high-pressure liquid that decimated the cobblestone paths of the city. I always make simple and quick sidesteps to avoid attacks and today is no different. Nothing he did ever got close to me. "So, how long will you run from the inevitable?" "Hmm? I'm gonna win this fight." I gave a soft and genuine smile. "Even if I know I'm going to die, I will win." I could see the news crew and the officers from before watching with their jaws touching the ground.
3rd POV The little wolf seemed small, but everyone in the vicinity could tell it was not a regular demon. It wasn't that they could sense it - no - it was of what was said. They heard, what is believed to be the world's strongest, openly admit there was no chance of survival. "Yes, there is no way you aren't dying today, but what do you mean that you will 'win'? I've worked with you for quite some time and I've never once figured your angle... What is it that drives you to defend such hypocritical and weak beings!?" The smaller of the two immediately started swinging his arms at great speeds. This was quickly followed by Obsidian creating a second katana and following suit. Metallic clashes could be heard all throughout the city. All of the rushing people stopped dead. The sounds of death ringing everywhere, children holding their parents, women crouching down, and men protecting their families. Even the air around the two bent to their ferocity. Mr. Leslie and the other officers had to hold up their guard against the deadly winds their battle was creating. The ground itself was upturned due to the slashing. It was clear to Leslie what was going on. The entire city is a hostage... This Devil can reach any citizen in the large city of Miami at anytime. Obsidian is fending them off, but for how long? This question was answered immediately when a large foot was smashed right into the what Mr. Leslie referred to as, 'The Little Bastard'. The battle of claws and blades became one of fists. Obsidian was seen dominating by most of the world. The runt was unable to keep up with his superior physical ability. A quiet, chopped up voice was heard by Obsidian, "Psyche Shift - Phase 1..." All of a sudden, the gremlin disappeared. Both eyes wide in search as they fixated underneath him. He began pooling Magic in the hand behind him. After a few moments, grey-ness blurred up to the top of a cafe. Through an unhinged mouth, came a large blast of energy that disintegrated everything in its path. "Well, you have been judged. You should've just joined us instead of being some dumbass hero." His jaws were perfectly fine before hopping off the two-story, brick building.
