It's been a while since I published. At first I was going to publish Chapters 19 a and b. But then I started making a 19c. So I will probably post that sometime today. May 4, 2020 Central Time.

Richard's Perspective
Well. this is an unfortunate turn of events. I was skeptical of almost everyone, but Obsidian never struck me as the type to do that. Not only that, but to oversee him without his knowledge? Incomprehensible.

Gladon is fine, but why the 'Idiot Duo'? The others were hoping on rooftops in front of me. The scenery going up and down, the Sun making everything wavy and slightly distorted.

Our target was in sight. If he knew we were there, he definitely didn't show any sign as he continued on his way to wherever.

He stopped to help a human woman carry some bags to her house. I still couldn't see him betraying us. Sable and Archie where known as The Twin Hunters when together. They definitely have the power and skill, but they aren't fit for something so sensitive. A wet, ball of something, was shot at my face while I was focusing on Obsidian. I caught it from the back corner of my eye. The cold, globbiness was disturbing as my hand acted on its own. Disgust was written all over my face as I overreacted and rubbed it off with my hanker-chief.

Those two where laughing their arses off. Gladon wasn't really paying attention to anything. "Hey you two!" I was trying to be stern in a whispering tone. "We have work to do!"
They just looked at each other and were like the hyenas from 'The Lion King'. My scoff was resounding, but Gladon interjected calmly. "Sable. Archie. Calm down."
They immediately got way more serious. What the bloody hell!?
I scooched over to whisper, "How in the bloody world did you get them to behave?"
He laid on his back, supporting his head with arms underneath it. His voice sounded lazy, "Just tell them. Don't be mad, gotta stay chill. They love picking on uptight people."
Uptight!? How am I uptight!? You guys just need to stand up straight and talk properly.

It was then, Obsidian got on a call. I was about to use a device to trace it, but Gladon told me it's no use.
As an extremely gifted Dark Magic-user, he could funnel the signal wherever he'd like. He sprinted like a mad man. Using the tops of buildings like we did to run off. We gave chase.

At first, I thought he noticed us and was fleeing, but he just went to a toy drive for children. Dammit Richard!! What the hell!!!?
I knew he did charity for those with disabilities, but not for orphans. I noticed a curious child that didn't divert from his direction.

A 'Sergal'. Obviously I couldn't hear, but after several minutes of being there, he left.

Then, he was at a public event with dancing and singing. I've never heard him sing, but apparently, he knew how to 'break dance'. It was horrid. I can't believe people considered that art... maybe in gymnastics.

I couldn't put my finger on it, but something was terribly wrong with the air.

Obsidian suddenly stopped dancing and walked onto the empty cobblestone lane. I could see his profile and his right eye. It sent chills from over here. Then, out of nowhere, his gaze veered directly in our vicinity.
I was about to get ready to fight, but my Cypher rang in my head for something... Something pretty large.

Obsidian made a substantial leap from the smooth yet rocky road and was at our faces within the blink of an eye. It appeared as though he was targeting Archie. I will believe in him.
I moved out of his way along with Sable, however, Archie wasn't able to move out in time. Luckily, Gladion pounced on top of him to avoid the katana of darkness that spawned in the World-Class's hand.
I could catch a glimpse of his eyes zooming all around a white, fleshy projectile, right before he locked on and sliced it in half. The, now, two pieces went on either side of him until, in a flash, they were diced up. A purple substance oozed from everywhere, but with his precision, not a speck got on him or us.
The sky changed a strange color before I could see what attacked us.
