Chapter 10: Arch-Demons

Tyler's Perspective
     Me and my Senpai's group all sense many demons coming over. They felt like Lesser Demons so we might be able to take them. Actually, Senpai could probably take them all on himself!~ And they are friends of his, they all should too! I'm well off.
     We were now surrounded and figured out our main niches quickly. I fired off symbols to burn the demons 'til they disintegrated. Percy-San was showing exemplary skills in using his katana in conjunction with his Magic. Slicing through many at a time, but something seemed.. off about him. Lightning-Sama was defending everyone at the same time as well as making pitfalls to capture and kill demons. Cinderella-Sama's Magic was devastating large amounts and cutting off reinforcements. Senpai's speed and strength allowed him to defeat large groups without getting hurt.

     After about ten minutes, we had finally eradicated all the Lesser Demons and were a little spent. The only one with energy left was Lightning-Sama. Dang! He's a monster!!
     "Hahaha!! That was fun!!! Let's go out and find some more!!" He exclaimed.
     "N-not everyone has a Magic r-reservoir like you." Sensei panted out.
     "W-wait. How much Magic do you have left?"
     "Hmmm! I've used about a quarter."
     All of us in unison, "WHAT!!"
I've got a plan. "Lightning-Sa-" I paused. "Lightning. Can I use your Magic?"
     "Hmm!? Sure!"
     I wrote the rune for transfer and it flew towards him. I could feel quite a bit of magic flow into me and the others seemed a lot better.
     "Woah! I didn't know you could do that! Thanks" He grabbed my shoulder from the other side with a smile on his face.
Senpai is soo close!!~ If I didn't have fur, I'd look like I was bleeding from my cheeks. I must purge these feelings!!! I started to bash my head into a tree again and Sensei had to pull me off again.
      I felt a more powerful demon. It was suffocating just being there.

     "Hmmm? Tsk! Stupid mortals. So you're the reason they were all dying. Pathetic mongrels."
     Him being there made me feel disgusted. He must be an Arch-Demon.
     I suddenly heard an explosion of Magic. It was Sensei trying to punch him. The kid seemed to easily catch it. "Tsk! Stupid mortal!" The demon slashed Senpai's abdomen so fast I almost didn't see it. Senpai staggered backwards.
      Percy-San was obviously distraught. "JACK!!" Water began bubbling around the enemy, steam releasing waves of heat that were easily visible. The magic power he was showing was insane, but seemed to come from something other than Senpai getting hurt.
     Earth encapsulated and wind-whipped, blue fire swirled to trapped the monster. "Tyler!! Hurry and help Jack out!!"
Cinderella-Sama... I drew a symbol and teleported towards Sensei and teleported back. I then healed him to the best of my ability. "Senpai!! Are you alright!?"
     "Tyler.. Didn't I say that we were friends? You don't have to use honorifics."
     "Yes, Jack!" He laughed. At least he's feeling better.
     The demon broke out with a little bit of singed hair and panting from the heat. "STUPID PECIES OF SHIT!!!!!" As he was blinded by anger, I teleported behind him. I could feel death as he turned. Time slowed. I'll die if I continue like this. I teleported behind him again. And used a different rune.
     It flew next to him and turned red, blowing up the instant after I appeared next to the others. Did I get him? Trees were tumbling and burned as we waited.
     He stood there with a his skin sizzling a little. "I will... KILL YOU ALL." His eyes became blood red, and aimed his anger at us. His skin was healing quickly from our attacks.
     I thought we would die until a voice from the forest resounded. "'Ey, William!" Another demon was standing there.

     His aura told us he was quite a bit stronger than the one we were fighting. "I can handle them. You go on back, kid."
     "What! I don't take orders from you! I want to kill them myself!"
     "Eeh. Were kids always this disrespectful, or are you just a brat?" The Arch-Demon, I assume is William, was steaming. "Anyway.. Master Belphegor called you back."
     All of the anger left the demon we were facing as if he had never been mad before. He almost seemed elated of the news. "M-Master Belphegor called!? Why didn't you tell me!!?"
     "Well I would have if you-" the smaller demon left by jumping through trees. "Damn. He didn't even let his elder finish." He was talking to himself, and had turn his attention to us. "Be grateful! You are about to die at the hands of The Arch-Demon, Zeldra!!"
     We just looked at him disgustedly. Then suddenly the ground shook as a myriad of large stones began floating and were hurled towards us. I was pretty much out of Magic and braced for impact, but another source of magic stopped it.
Lightning-Sama? His eyes were glowing as he held up his hand.
     "I might not have much Magic, but with just regular Earth Magic, my Cypher can stop it."
     "Oh. But I wouldn't be an Arch-Demon if Earth Magic was my only trump card." His sclera's crimson gleam sent shivers down my entirety until he smashed right into Lightning-Sama. "Well. Time for the rest of you."
     Right before he moved using his Cypher, his arm was lobbed clean off. Someone was right next to us.

Everyone, but Lightning-Sama, exclaimed, "Dr. Oswell!!!?"
"Yep. But you guys can call me Ollie."
The demon was enraged until his face was filled with dread. He was shivering uncontrollably and looking at Oswell-Sensei.
     "Y-you are World-Class!!!" Oswell-Sensei calmly walked up to him and tapped his head. The Arch-Demons head basically exploded. And it died.
World-Class!!!??
