Chapter 20: How was Your Day?

Jackson's Perspective
     Looking outside, there was a crisp chill that emanated from the window. Dew reflected the orange sunlight so the grass glistens with twinkling stars and shimmering crystals.
     It was glorious... at least before I got the news.

     A light fog settled as me and Purce took a walk around. He loved how all the flowers bloomed perfectly. Roses, tulips, orchids. Bright yellows, deep blues, and flashy reds dressed the flawlessly groomed grass. Nothing out of place.
     I wanted to talk to one of my professors about an assignment I was having trouble with. But first - I need some alone time with Percy.

     We wandered through the deeper garden behind our University.

     The tunnel of foliage made me feel like I was part of nature itself. The Sun was partially blocked and the moisture in air hung in a cool state.
Percy leaning against me, my arm coiled around him possessively. I won't let anyone ever hurt you.~ My head fell on top of his as we walked and cuddled quietly.

     After the tunnel, was a nice, decorative garden.

     "Woooow!!" Percy's eyes were wide and soaking up all the sight.
     I chuckled a bit. "Have you never been back here before?"
     It took him a second to respond, him being distracted and all. His frail-looking arms tightened affectionately.
     "No. I've either had to study or went out with everyone."
We wandered a bit and saw a few small animals. The water being crystal clear, I could see my reflection, even with the light mist.

We had a great time there, but I needed help in my class. Though Percy and I have the same class - Magic Theory.
