"Allie.~" He always pulls this crap. My sigh was intentional made loud, so he understood my frustration. "What is it?" I focused on putting on my turquoise earrings and rushing to get all of my stuff.
"Lets snuggle some more.~"
This is going to be a long day. "You know work's been more hectic than ever. And - I forgot about the early morning meeting for the High-Class Hunters." I glanced at the red-glowing numbers and groaned. "I don't even have the time to shower."
I was grooming my hair and fur well. I got done within several minutes. I'll have to stop for breakfast today. But if I'm late, Dad will scold me. I strode out the bathroom, making sure all my buttons were fastened correctly, when I saw Brett making breakfast.
"You said it was late, so I didn't make anything big."
This is why I love him.~ The scrambled eggs and bacon he made were gone in an instant, along with orange juice to wash it down. "Thanks Bee." My lips gave a quick jab to the side of his face, while he was still in a white apron over the stove. "Hopefully, I'll be able to come back tonight - bye!!"
I closed the front door and ran out. Oops. almost forgot. Three tattoos, that reflected my teal-eyes, appeared on my face. Not many know of the fourth one on my shoulder, not even Brett. My shoulder illuminated unnoticeably from under my long, dress sleeve. A light enveloped me and I felt refreshed and clean.
Afterwards, I flew using Magic, covered in a blinding luminescence.
I arrived with a black opening in space appearing in front of me. I didn't change direction and just slowed down, sinking into the anomaly.
There are a lot of different Hunters all around the large room. Some standing and talking, others drinking coffee, and a few dozed off... That's when I saw him. Ryu.
