Obsidian's Perspective
After that horrible battle, my limbs were so heavy and head felt pressured. I wasn't able to move until my instincts took me on autopilot. Quickly getting up, scanning the area using my eyes.
I could tell there was a powerful demon hiding its presence, but it was strong enough to encapsulate the area. It must be a Demon Lord.
I saw something.

I instantly swung a great-sword I created with Dark Magic

I instantly swung a great-sword I created with Dark Magic. A slashing shockwave spliced through until I noticed his translucence.
He was totally fine.
My body collapsed from fatigue. The demon's eyes shone like blood as he ran towards me. Gravity yanking me down to one knee, bowing to the Earth itself as the others tried to fight off the rushing danger.

Rick trying to punch the enemy, but nothing connected, it all just went right through him like a ghost

Rick trying to punch the enemy, but nothing connected, it all just went right through him like a ghost. Dammit!!!
It passed through Magic and punches, then possessed Obsidian's tired body.
Obsidian's body got up in a strange way, moving his fingers and legs. "Woah!!! I gotta admit, this feels great!!!" It was like Obsidian's kind yet deep voice, but distorted and malicious. "Now this I could get used to."
An immense amount of power was released. Enough to destroy the entire area. Well, I guess all the civilians are safe.
Not even a moment later, there was a third whale monster flying towards the city. The Magic this thing had dwarfed the others. Its gaping mouth opened to shoot a gigantic version of the previous missiles.
Before we were able to react, sinister energy was enveloping Obsidian.

I can't believe I was able to get this body!!! Master Azmoth will be so pleased.~ Soon I'll have full control-
Suddenly, I feel these corrupt eyes staring back at me. Something that shook me to my very core. Its force hit something innate in me like the Devils do - but even worse.
A darkness like I've never seen or felt began to surround me after trying to get at his soul. It was sucking me in. I need to escape!!!
I immediately left before that mysterious power absorbed me. And what I saw horrified me. That darkness - that void - it was in the form of some sort of beast. It tried to consume me, but I got out in time.
Sorry, but I'm out!!

Jackson's Perspective
After Caleb told me about how Cindy and Nox stalked my brother, and that he was in a big fight with demonic beasts, I checked my phone for the live news.
Obsidian was going crazy. It left me flash-backing to things I'd rather not remember. I saw a monster come out of him, and attack a demon that was possessing him.
That demon left frantically. All that happened in a split moment as weaponized flesh rushed at the city.

This kid scrambled up and created a vibrant barrier, which contained the explosion

This kid scrambled up and created a vibrant barrier, which contained the explosion. 'Contained' might not be the best word, more like it helped suppress it.
The sphere quickly broke from the force, but it left minimal damage. I'm relieved, but something else was nagging at me. This doesn't excuse it.
The kid was blasted back, and one of the Hunters caught him before he hurt himself anymore. All of their attention was pointed at my older brother.

Obsidian's Perspective
After the demon left my body, I felt heat rise from my depths. I didn't know what it was, but my mind was clouded. This is bad.
The others were looking worriedly, but in concern as well. I got this. I was able to stand up straight and walk.
"Well, that gave me a headache!!!" My voice more rambunctious than usual. "Now let's take care of this."
I could feel something creeping in the back of my mind. It deprecated my movements on an emotional level. What is this? It's like when mother had that episode.
I shook my head to clear it, but I went way too far. The first time I wasn't able to control myself like this. When my blade's slash connected, it split the monster in half and burned it enough to stop regeneration.
The inner me screaming, tearing into my consciousness, and making me want to throw up. I could hear it's cries as it didn't die, just in a state of suffering.
I was able to control my actions enough to not seem too out of place with the other Hunters and the media watching.
The Twin Hunters used their Magic to finish off the crisping halves of a living being. What is wrong with me...?

My mind was completely blank before I woke up

My mind was completely blank before I woke up. Just walking into a Russian city. What the hell is happening!?
I kept wandering, thinking. What have I been doing?! Where am I going? My hazy thoughts turned off when my eyes met with an unrecognizable city.
Vines and weeds sprawled and strangled buildings. Hunters trying to burn and tear the plants apart. This pang of a memory came, one I couldn't discern, but a stomach-churning hit like a truck. Did I cause this!!!??

A mysterious darkness writhed from this Hunter's shadow.
