It was the day of the renunion and while my father was already back to work with Jimin and Sungmin, my mother tasked me to take charge of the decorations as she supervised the cooking. Fortunately, the seats and the tables were already set up so I just had to put on some flaglets here and there.

"Need help?"

As I turned around, I found Jungkook, watching me as I struggle to arrange a few things.

"Why are you here?" I asked, "I texted you not to come."

"I'm grateful that you're back to texting me but I already promised your mother," Jungkook answered, "Come on. I'm already here so just let me help you."

"Shouldn't you be helping the boys there?" I pointed at Jimin's group who were finishing the mini-stage.

He shook his head, "Your father told me to get lost. Seems like he still hates me."

I chuckled, "You deserved that."

"Thanks," he sarcastically remarked.

He again offered his help and this time, I took it, as I noted that only a few hours were left. Soon, we were also getting dressed for the occasion. Since Jimin hasn't brought with him any clothes, I told him to borrow some from Jungkook since my father's clothes were too big on him while Sungmin's were too small.

I saw the protest in his eyes when I told him it was Jungkook's clothes, but it was not like he had a choice.

The people had started arriving, and as I started to assign tables, I figured that the best choice was to let both Jimin and Jungkook sit in our family's table.

"You look good in my clothes," Jungkook told Jimin.

"Oh please. I look better than you in your clothes," Jimin replied.

I rolled my eyes, "If you two would fight here, I swear I would kick the both of you out."

"Why is he even in our table?" Jimin questioned.

"For the record, you're an outsider too," I told Jimin, "I'm just kind enough to let the both of you sit here."

"I am well-behaved," Jungkook remarked.

"Good," I mumbled before looking at my other side and Jimin sulked in his seat like a little child who had been grounded.

We hired some helpers but being in charge of the reunion was actually a hidden gift since it made me too busy to even talk to some of the family members. There were also some games that I had to host but when people started insisting that I play one game, one of my cousins took over the role of game master.

It was a game where the team consisted of two players where the both of them are holding boards, and once a question about each other is asked, they'd get a point for having the same answer.

I thought that I would be playing with my brother and I was so sure that we were going to lose until people started pointing at Jungkook to play with me. I guess, they were playing cupids, hopeful that Jungkook and I would be back together. Too pressured, I saw Jungkook standing up and walking to the front and the crowd cheered.

"I guess some of your family still likes me," he whispered.

"If I do a monologue here of how you break my heart, you'd be out in no time," I retorted.

When he chuckled in return, I knew that both of us were just back to being comfortable with each other.

My other cousins were also made to play along with the dates that they have brought to the reunion. It seemed like a battle between couples, except that Jungkook and I were not one.

The game seemed just like listing each one's favorites and such was too easy for I and Jungkook that we actually won the game.

With me being too occupied for that day, the small talks I had to be in were reduced and the hours went by quickly and I was more than thankful that the reunion was over.

We started bidding goodbye to each other and the place was almost empty when Jungkook told me that he was also leaving.

"Hey. I'm going back to Seoul. Would you want to ride with me?" he asked.

"No," I answered, "I'd go back tomorrow morning. We got some cleaning up to do."

"Don't you have work?" he asked.

"I'm on my vacation leave," I replied, "You should go back. I know that you could only spare today."

"Sorry that I can't help."

"You've done enough," I smiled, "But please do watch over my apartment for tonight too."

"Speaking of that, I've been watching your apartment as you told me for the past few days," Jungkook started, "And I think I need to report to you that Jimin had been waiting by your door every night."

My smile melted away as I stared at Jungkook. I couldn't say anything in return.

Jungkook then held my gaze and told me, "I think he deserves a chance, Da. That guy would not wait for you every night nor trouble himself and go here if he was not serious about you."

He beamed as he added, "I never realized that you two were just acting and that must be because despite pretending to be a couple, you two are genuinely in love with each other."

"Jungkook, I clearly heard him say that he's in love with someone else," I retorted, for I did not want to get my hopes up for nothing.

"Then, ask him," Jungkook directed, "For him to be here, I know he has some words for you to hear."

I bit my lip and basked in silence before finally nodding.

Jungkook smiled at me again before taking his leave.
