Chapter Ten

Bumaba kaagad ng kama si Julie mahigpit na nakahawak sa comforter na nakabalot sa katawan at dali-daling kinuha ang mga damit nila na nakakalat kung saan-saan.

"Moe? Are you expecting someone? God! What if sina tita Pia or ang girlfriend mo yan? Oh God! Definitely, This is the situation i really wanted to avoid, this is so wrong! Bakit kasi tsk! Please, Moe make her leave. Ugh! This is insane, now i am cheating...we are cheaters Elmo. God! Ito pa naman ang pinakaayaw ko sa lahat."

Mahina pero may diin na sabi ni Julie, kahit gusto na niyang sumigaw dahil sobrang natataranta at naiiyak siya kailangan hinaan niya ang boses at baka marinig pa sa labas kung sino man ang taong nandun.

"Baby will you please calm down? Please. I got this okay? It's Ryanne. I will talk to her muna. Okay? Calm down."

"What?! You're going to let her in?! And then what? Maghahalikan kayo sa harap ko?! Subukan mo lang, at hinding-hindi mo na ako makikita ever Magalona! Kainis ka! You got me in this situation, umayos ka! Bakit kasi mahal pa rin kita?! Ugh ang gulo!"

Napangiti si Elmo sa sinabi ni Julie, masyadong advance nga naman itong mag isip. Pero masaya siya, masayang-masaya dahil sa pag amin nito na mahal pa rin sya ng dalaga.

'Selosa pa rin talaga. You leave me no choice kasi, and i'm really dying to win you back.'

"Nah baby. I'm just gonna talk to her over the phone lang. And i will never ever kiss other woman in front of you... Okay? Now, go get something to change. I will handle this. Okay? Sorry to put you in this situation, but Maqui's invitation is the only chance i've got to see you again and i didn't expect naman that you felt the same way... But i'm really glad i took the risked cause it's really worth it... And i'm sorry, wala na akong balak na pakawalan ka pa. (He cupped her face and give her a peck on her lips, and rest his forehead on hers) You have to break up with him  and i will too... No one can stop us now Julie, no one. I love you very much. So please calm down baby. I won't let anyone hurt you. I got this, okay? I love you." And he gave her a short but heartwarming, passionate kiss and hugged her tightly before he took a step to open the door.

Akmang hahawakan na ni Elmo ang doorknob...

"And where are you going? My God! You can't let her in Elmo!" naisip pa lang niya na magkikita si Elmo at ang girlfriend nito parang gusto na niyang mag amok.

"Nah baby... Why? Living room lang naman ako baby. I'm not going to let her in. Don't stress yourself. I got this baby. Okay? Now get something to wear na. It'll be quick lang, i  will tell her to leave. Just calm down, Okay?"

"And why aalis ka pa? You can talk to her here naman inside eh. Ano naman ang pag usapan niyo na ayaw mong marinig ko? Don't tell me you're gonna tell her your sweet nothings just to be off the hook, in front of me?! Don't you dare Elmo!" sabi nito na tumaas pa ang isang kilay, naiinis siya.

Natatawang napailing si Elmo. Nilapitan niya si Julie, iniyakap ang isang kamay sa bewang nito at ang isang kamay naman humaplos sa pisngi ng dalaga.

" Nag je-jelly ang baby ko. Okay, i'll talk to her here. Wag ka na magalit. And i'm not gonna tell her any sweet nothings... There's nothing sweet to tell. Okay? Now let me call her para makaalis na siya. Okay? Wag na jelly baby, ikaw lang ang pinakamamahal ko.. Okay na?" at hinalikan ang noo niya bago siya binitawan nito.

Tumunog na naman uli ang buzzer sa unit niya.

Inabot uli ang cellphone niya na nasa kama at tinawagan ang girlfriend, at sinigurado niyang naka loudspeaker para marinig ni Julie ang pag uusap nila at baka mag beast mode na naman ito.

"Babe, where are you? I thought you're sick? Will you please open the door?"

Narinig ni Julie ang boses babae na kausap ni Elmo.
