As Marivic watched Julie and Elmo descended the staircase her thoughts were filled of what Julie's life would be without her or anyone but her and Elmo...and she knew she would have a hard time adjusting her life without anyone around her who would do things for her though she knew how to wash her clothes and some house chores but still she's not use to it. And she couldn't let her daughter have a hard time especially now that she is three months pregnant. 

" Julie, Elmo! Walang aalis. Dun na muna kayo sa guestroom. Mas safe sa guestroom, delikado ng mag akyat baba pa si Julie sa room nya. ( She turned to her side and look at her husband in her stoic expression. ) At ikaw Jonathan hintayin mo ako at mag-uusap tayo." 

Marivic hurriedly walked away to catch Julie and Elmo. 

Jonathan silently walks to the master's bedroom. 

Julie and Elmo stopped midway and turned around. 

" Ma, sorry but we should. Ayaw ko pong mag away pa kami ni Papa at madagdagan ang sama ng loob nya sa amin. "

Julie answered Marivic when she was one step away from them. 

" Like I said, walang aalis. Simula ngayon dun kana, kayo sa guestroom. Elmo, pahingahin mo na si Julie doon. Pahinga ka muna, kakausapin ko lang Papa mo. Pagpasensyahan nyo na. (She coiled her arms with hers and they continued descending the stairs.) Ako na ang bahala. Everything will be okay, nak... Don't think about it too much nakakasama sa baby, okay? Pahinga na muna kayo, patawag ko na lang kayo mamaya… Wala ka bang gustong kainin? Paluto natin kay manang. "

" Ma? Baka lalo lang magalit si Papa, ano na naman ang gawin kay Elmo. "

Worriedness was evident with Julie's shaky voice.

They stopped in front of the guestroom. 

" Sige na, wag ka ng mag-alala… Magpahinga na muna kayo. Elmo, ikaw na bahala kay Julie. "

" Okay po, Tita. Salamat po. "

" Ma, thank you. But sana hayaan nyo na muna kami sa condo ni Elmo. "

Marivic took a step closer and hugged Julie. 

" Ayaw kong mahirapan ka anak, lalo na ngayon. Ako na ang bahala sa Papa mo, he would understand, don't worry. "

" Thank you, Ma. "

" Sige na, magpahinga ka na. Elmo, ikaw na bahala muna kay Julie. "

Elmo nodded his head. 

" Okay po Tita. Ako na po bahala kay Julie. "

He answered as he draped his arms on her shoulders. 

" Ma, parang gusto ko po ng shrimp sinigang." 

"Okay anak, noted. Sasabihin ko kay manang." 

" And native chicken adobo na may atsuete po, Ma." 

" Buti na lang nakapag pamalenke sila manang kahapon. Okay. Sige, pahinga ka na. Ipatawag ko na lang kayo mamaya pag kakain na."
