Connor POV

Song Connor sings to Skylar

I pound on the door to Skylar's house, seeing a car in the drive way I know someone is home. It's Sunday morning so I know someone is home. The door opens with Skylars dad looking half awake and pissed off.

"Why in God's name are you pounding so loud on my door at eight in the morning like hellhounds are about to kill you?" Eliot asked staring me down. I gupled.

"I...I ah...I wanted to see Skylar and talk to him." I say rather nervous.

"Didn't you do enough talking with your lips on some other boy on Monday?" He snapped at me and I flinched.

"It's not what you think I swear. It's complicated and I can explain it all but I want to tell Skylar first." I say and he huffs and he let's me in. We go into the kitchen and he pops a kcup into the coffee maker and gets some eggs and bacon out of the fridge and he starts making breakfast.

"Skylar isn't here." He states as he cracks some eggs.

"What do you mean, where did he go?" I panicked, I can't have my mate leaving.

"He and Ashley went camping Friday evening. They'll be back later. He wanted to get away for the weekend and that reason is you. You hurt him more than I had ever seen. When we came home Monday evening and saw his car in the driveway we didn't know what to expect so when he told us what happened and my son who is so strong breaks down and cries after holding it in all night, it broke my heart. He has been through a lot in his life and yea were not perfect but when my son is hurt, I feel it and so does John. I can't explain to you how he was all week after that, I just know he's hurt and it's time you fixed whatever it is you did."

"I wanted to all week but at school he avoided me and during the evenings I had things I had to do at home so today was the only time I have free. I can't even bring myself to ask for forgiveness because I know I hurt him and I know it will take a lot for him to forgive me but I can't live without him. Eliot, Skylar is my mate." As soon I said that, I heard a loud gasp and bags drop on the floor.

We turn around and see Skylar standing there, shocked.

"What?" He asked in an angry tone and again I gulped. Him and his dad may be human but the looks on their faces when they are mad can make anyone cower away and flinch.

"Can we talk?" I asked calmly and he looks at his dad and he nods and Ashley walks by me, not even looking at me and that hurt, I see her as my little sister since we got to know one another and she is always wanting to be with me.

"You hurt my Sky Sky anymore and I will kick your shin." She warns with her little finger pointing at me and her other hand on her hip, her hair over her shoulder. She looks like she's ten doing that.

"Yes ma'am." I said and nodded and she gave me a tiny smile but quickly hid her face by turning around and getting on her tip toes to see what is cooking. Elliot moved her back quickly so the grease doesn't hurt her.

I look over at where Skylar was but he wasn't there so I followed his scent and found him out back with Rosco. I make my way to them and sit beside Skylar and I hear him sniffling and I look over at him and see tears on his cheeks.

"How long?" He asked not looking at me.

"Since the day we met." I answered honestly.

"Why didn't you tell me? You know I know about you and about mates so why, why hide it from me?" He asked and looked at me. His beautiful blue eyes shining with tears and are slightly red.

"Because I wanted to tell you when I felt comfortable enough to tell you about me, my past, my health. I wanted us to be closer and had a strong bond before I did. I'm sorry I kept it a secret, I was just scared once you knew and knew of my past and health, you would leave."
