1. Take us to that time na una mong nalaman na gusto mong magsulat?
-Growing up, I've always been tagged as an artistic person. Before I became a Wattpad writer, I was already focused on drawing and painting and did my own manga (comics) during highschool. And as I moved overseas, I didn't have the luxury to purchase all art materials but I had so much ideas that I wanted to put into art... and that's when solely focusing on writing took place. I started from a fanfiction website (but I wasn't writing fanfic) and then Wattpad came along and changed me and my writing perspectives.
2. Ano ang masasabi mo sa mga taong nais na magsulat pero nahihiya dahil takot sila na baka mabash lang sila?
-Don't be afraid. If you really want to write, just write. We're not just writing for our reader's enjoyment alone. We don't write just to please a specific circle of readers. We write because we want to express our ideas into words and bring those readers into our world.
3. How did you discover Wattpad?
-Like I said sa first question, I was part of a fanfiction website but I wasn't writing fanfic stories. I wanted to be original even though people were appreciating my works in there. Then I just searched up for online writing platforms with good reviews and tried out Wattpad.
4. What's the secret behind your success?
-My failures are my secret to my success. There has been a lot (and I mean a lot) of challenges that I had to experience to reach where I am now. Kahit sa pagsusulat. Ang daming beses na pinanghinaan ako ng loob kung dapat ba magpatuloy pa ako sa pagsusulat or hindi na lang. Madaming 'what ifs' but in the end, ayoko ng regrets lalo na kasi ang dami ko na ngang napagdaanan so I persevered and finally got to where I am now.
5. Sa lahat ng sinulat mo, alin sa mga iyon ang pinaka-paborito mo at bakit?
--Pwede bang lahat na lang? Haha. It would be FNGT Book 1: The C.E.O.'s Marriage Contract. I was never planning to make it a novel. Short story lang dapat pero I received a wonderful amount of support kahit na puno ng hesitations since it was the first part of the series. Kung ano kasi ang isusulat sa book 1, dapat mag-reflect din sa mga susunod pang storya kaya I had to carefully plan things out. So, while I was writing book 1, the other stories have also begun. At hindi ko talaga inaasahan na sa point na ito ay more than 1M na ang nakabasa doon. The story isn't your typical boy-meets girl na story. Maraming bagay ang unexpected lalo na sa bida and there are lessons to be learned as well. This story blossomed from another work which was part of a different series.
6. Paano ba sumikat sa Wattpad?
-Ano ba ang pamantayan ng isang tao sa pagiging sikat dito sa Wattpad? Maraming followers? Maging published? May fanclub? Millions of reads and support on all stories? Pinagkakaguluhan? I guess there's a lot of ways to say kung sikat ba ang isang tao pero for me it's how a writer carry themselves and how effective can they write and move their readers. Doon naman nagsisimula 'yun, 'di ba? You need to work hard and things will pay off in the end.
7. Ano ang iyong paboritong pelikula?
-I fell in love with Sarah Geronimo's movie "Miss Granny" so that would be my favourite movie. It was the last movie that actually made me tear up (and it takes a lot to make me cry on a movie).
8. Tell us a secret.
-Hmm... Siguro ang summary ng username ko na lang. Maraming nagtanong bakit daw ang haba or kaya naman bakit hindi ko na lang ginawang number 1300. Bakit nga ba PrincessThirteen00? "Princess" kasi 'yun ang gustong ipangalan ng mom ko sa 'kin but my dad beat her to it so sa UN ko na lang nilagay. "Thirteen" kasi it was the age when I was making the craziest life-decisions that made me who I am today. Tapos 'yung "00" is actually an eternity sign na hindi connected at hindi magtatagpo. I could probably use "8" or put in an actual eternity symbol, but I believe that some things are like a parallel lines, they are lines that would never meet or intersect at any point. But despite that, a part of me believes that there are infinite possibilities sa maraming bagay so I chose to use "00".
9. Ibahagi sa amin at iyong mga fans ang iyong pinaka paboritong akda and tell us why we should read it.
-Favourite ko ever since ang 'Romeo and Juliet' ni William Shakespeare. Mayroon pa bang hindi nakakaalam ng storyang ito? I mean, it's a beautiful and timeless masterpiece. I've always been in love with the story. Parang every time may adaptation, I would wish na mabibigyan nila ng justice ang story. Even the story behind it is intriguing. Talagang captivating ang plot and development ng kwento. It was the work that inspired some of my tragic-ending stories (not saying which one) but showcased love in various special ways. Kaya if hindi pa nababasa, you have to read it already!
