Morning approached. Sunlight peered through the cracks of the small window. You and Hamako slept in the same room, not minding each others presence.

The sunlight was bright, and shone directly at your face, bugging you to wake up. It also didn't help when a raven was screeching loudly at another window on the opposite side of the room.

You didn't want to explain the agony of waking up to the sound of "caw"s and "scree"s. All you heard was the new mission of some train.

Hamako groaned sitting up reluctantly, "Can we.. not..?" She drowsily rubbed her eyes, but laid back down. Only to miss and hit her head on the wooden floor.

There was a thunk but it didn't seem critical. "Ow!" You giggled while she rubbed the back of her head. "It's not funny!" She exclaimed, though she looked like she was about to crack a laugh too.

You stretched and looked around tiredlessly. A good laugh in the morning really woke you up. You put your hand in the sunlight laying on your pillow, it was comfortably warm but you didn't want to tan, so you proceeded to pull it out.

The raven had finished screaming and was now resting tirelessly on the window sill, stalking the two of you. You and Hamako decided it was best to get up just in case the raven started screeching again.

Once you've finally finished whatever you were doing, the two of you headed on into the main room of the house. Yuki wasn't there, so you assumed that she was still asleep. You decided to write a note and leave it on the table, to inform Yuki about you and Hamako leaving.

Hamako yawned tiredly, "So early in the morning. Why'd we have to wake up so early for a mission?"

You shrugged, you didn't hear the important information about that "train". You should've listened more, but your brain was just waking up how could you remember?

You two walked on for what seemed like a few minutes, but it was probably because of you and Hamako talking about random stuff you and her found enjoyable.

Luckily you listened of how far it would be, and it wasn't as far as expected. Just about 2.5-3 miles of running/walking.

You guys were nearing the Butterfly Estate. Quickening your pace, the two of you decided to try and catch up with the boys if they went already. Soon enough though they came out of the Butterfly Estate all healed, alive and well, except there was also a familiar person walking with them. Tanjiro was the first to notice you guys.

"Ah- Y/N-chan, Hamako-chan."

The two of you walked up to them, Tanjiro smiled greetingly then looked back at the two sides haori male, "Oh, this is Giyuu-san. Ehm, he once saved me in the forest."

He had seemed familiar, it was nearly the same for you. "You're that one girl the other time, the one who tripped over a tree root."

So that's how he remembers me, fair enough, you did remember him from his weirdly sewn haori anyways. "My name is Y/N L/N, thank you for saving me back there."

He, with a blank soulless stare, nodded and looked away, "I need to go." He simply said before going back inside the Butterfly Estate.

"Oh, since you're going to the train mission too, why don't we go together? It'll be fun traveling altogether!" Zenitsu and Inosuke, formerly fighting each other, had walked over.

"..Oh- Y/N-chan. It's nice to.. s-see you again." He exchanged a very quick welcoming smile. You smiled back enthusiastically. You were glad to see Zenitsu and the others healthy, after under the care of the Butterfly people. You had forgotten to say goodbye to Kanao, but hopefully Tanjiro had told her for you. You did explain how you and Hamako were to be released earlier since not much damage had been done.

As the five of you walked, you stood on the left of Zenitsu and on the right of Tanjiro. Hamako was standing next to Inosuke, and they continuously talked/argued amongst themselves about whether Onigiri or Udon was better.

Zenitsu quietly walked beside you, and you didn't mind. You had thought the two of you had become fairly close the days you had spent talking.

.

It was around dark when you made it to the train. "I-its so crowded..!" Hamako looked around, hiding behind your back, nervously.

You sighed briefly, "Lets enter the train then, I am sure it'll be less crowded there, Hamako."

She nodded and went along to find the entrance to the train, meanwhile Inosuke looked at the train like he wanted to fight it, "What is this thing? It looks like some snake!"

He continued to bang his head into it. "I-inosuke! Stop that!" Zenitsu yelled. You walked over and grabbed his hands, holding them tightly.

"I'll see you later, Zenitsu-kun. Stay safe... for me.. okay?"

He seemed shocked by the gesture, and got red in this face. You looked suprisingly at him but then worry, "O-oh no, you must still be kind of sick. I'm.. sorry, Zenitsu. I hope you get better. And.. goodbye!" You gave his hands a light squeeze and let go, running after Hamako who was waiting at the entrance to the train.
