zenitsu x reader (on hold)

Chapter 30

Kanao, Hamako, and you were crowded around a small table, drinking an herbal tea while snacking. The three of you talked about random stuff, and asked each other about events that helped you decide into joining the demon slayer corps.

"No wonder.. You and Shinobu-san seemed so close!"

Kanao was flustered slightly and nodded acknowledgingly, you and Hamako laughed.

"Y/N-san."

You heard a soft voice call you, and you looked towards that direction. Naho was waving at you with desperation. "T-tamjiro and the others are back!"

You immediately stood up, feeling panic and relief. You looked down at Hamako who was resting on her bed (She slept a lot these days).

I'll be back later, Hamako. You and the little girl ran towards a room and Tanjiro slept on the bed. He had a bandage around his head and looked sickly pale.

"He woke up?! Why didn't you tell somebody!?"

Kanao sat there looked frantically at her, you interfered by trying to calm the helper down.

The helper then went into the hallway and called for Kiyo, Sumi and Naho. They came in with tears flowing.  It was absolute chaos in the room, but you didn't mind it and looked relievingly at Tanjiro. "I'm glad you're back."

He looked at you with a indescribable expression before smiling, "Yeah.." He weakly said, he must've fought hard if he was so drained.

Aoi started crying, you placed an arm around her for comfort, "Inosuke was in a terrible condition... The poison had circulated through his body so we were too late to stop the bleeding.."

Tanjiro looked blankly up at the ceiling, like he was staring at something, "Oh.. then I must be hallucinating to see him on the ceiling right now."

Everyone started screaming from fright, "How'd you get up there!?"

"Haha! I'm surprised you notice me, Tanpachiro!" He plopped down onto the bed, Tanjiro didn't seem to be in any pain, "I am the man that woke up seven days before you!"

"...Oh.. that's nice Inosuke.. Good for you."

"Hehhe, keep praising me! You're a feeble boy, you made me worry!"

You giggled, and decided to head back to where Hamako was to see if she had awoken. You were wondering where Zenitsu was, you haven't seen him in a while. You kind of was starting to miss him.
