Chapter 34: "lauren?"

Someone wanted me to continue so I thought it would only be fair if I finished the book, so here it goes. I hope y'all enjoy the next few chapters <3

Y/n POV
We were brought in for questioning, Aubree and Olivia went in first. They were asked to leave so it was only me, Elijah, Ethan, Denis, Hayden, Kyleigh, and Sky left. The girls went in first, we each explained our parts in it and were let go, except for Hayden. The guys went in and explained what they knew and were also let go. We had to leave Hayden at the police station.

Me and Denis went in a separate car, while the others went in one. They knew we needed to be alone, "Denis, what do we do about her-" I was interrupted by Denis thinking out loud. "What is Lauren's problem?!" I looked at him... "it wasn't her Denis, it was a girl named scar, she went to school with us. I haven't been telling you this because I wanted to be sure it was her. But Hayden saw scar do it, please believe me" he stared at me with a sympathetic smile.

Denis POV
What the freak is this girl on, of course it's lauren, why wouldn't it be?! I know she "made up" with Lauren but why would some random chick from high school be after them like this. It makes no sense but I'll go along with it, because if I don't... idk what she'd do to me.

Olivia POV
When me and Aubree got to the house we patiently waited there for the others to come, although the rest bombarded us with "what happeneds" and "how'd it go's" we explained what we knew but that still didn't please them. Me and Aubree needed to get away we went outside and started walking, and walking as far away from the house as possible. We ended on some secluded road, we looked around and no one was in sight. I started walking back but I heard a scream, I quickly turned around and Aubree was being dragged away, unconscious. I looked to see who it was but I couldn't see their face. I ran up to them but they had a rock in their hand and threw it at me. I tried to block it but it hit my stomach, I collapsed. She put Aubree down and went over to me, she put some kind of a rag over my mouth and pitch black fell on me.

Y/n POV
We kept driving, and driving. The car with the others went a different way, because they weren't following us anymore. When we got home we didn't see Aubree or Olivia, we asked the others what had happened and they said they went out walking. Then we asked if Elijah and them had come home yet, and they said no. They started asking us a bunch of questions, but we weren't concerned about that. So we left them and went looking for Aubree and Olivia. We searched the whole neighborhood, even in secluded areas still we couldn't find them. We were getting worried but we had to wait until tomorrow to put out any kind of police report.

Elijah POV
We let y/n and Denis go in a separate car, they needed alone time. We noticed they took a weird route so we went the way I knew, we were stopped at a red light. Almost everyone was either crying or had been crying. I looked over at Ethan, "I'm sorry" he looked back at me... "she- she was so young" I looked in his eyes and I knew he was heartbroken.

Someone honked at me and I pressed the gas pedal, but it was a red light. I looked back today see who honked at me for no reason but I was I interrupted when someone plowed into the side of our car. The car was flipped and almost destroyed, but I passed out and can't remember anything else.

Denis POV
We gave up searching for them, so we went back home. Everyone was gathered around the TV Elijah and them got into a car accident. The car was totaled and they were flipped, blood was everywhere. I started tearing up, I wonder if they were ok "they are in terrible condition" I looked back up at the newscaster. They are probably going to the hospital now, how many times do we have to go there. "Witness says someone honked at them and made them go, thinking there was a green light" it- it was sabotage, someone purposely did this.

Y/n POV
I am sick and tired of this, all of my friends are leaving me one by one. It's not even on purpose, scars trying to get me and Denis alone. Well it won't work... I called a number on my phone "lauren, yes- I need your help"
