A/N

The picture above shows the wedding dress, how Gee looks, the bridesmaid dresses, and how the boys look. That is all.

Y/N POV

It feels like an eternity since I've seen Gerard, due to the fact that you aren't supposed to see your soon-to-be spouse on your wedding day. "Bad luck" they claim. I know it's only been a day, but I'm literally always with him.

Most people also claim to have second thoughts or cold feet. They claim to be nervous. Me? I've never been more ready for something in my life.

The wedding had started. My brothers were at my sides while I held my bouquet. We watched the flower girl go down the isle, then heard the music change. My turn.

We came out from our spot, and everyone stood, turning to watch as I walked.

It seemed as if time stopped when I saw Gerard. I didn't see our family and friends around us. I didn't see the decorations or beautiful dresses. I saw him and only him.

My brothers had to basically keep me from running to him. I notice tears running down his face as he smiled. Tears of joy, I hoped. All I can say is thank God for waterproof makeup because I could feel myself tearing up as well.

We finally reached the end and my brothers passed me over to Gerard.

"You look amazing." He said as I wiped his tears away.

"You look even better." I beamed.

"We are gathered here today to join two hearts into one. We are here today to marry Ms. Y/N L/N and Mr. Gerard Way. Now, I understand you've done your vows differently. Y/N may go first." The man said. I smiled as Ray came over, taking his guitar from behind the podium.

"I wrote this song remembering all of the good times and the bad. I hope you like it. This is called The World Is Ugly."

I was passed the microphone and nodded to Ray, letting him know he could begin to play.

These are the eyes and the lies of the taken
These are their hearts but their hearts don't beat like ours
They burn 'cause they are all afraid
For every one of us, there's an army of them
But you'll never fight alone
'Cause I wanted you to know

I stepped closer to him, looking into his eyes as I sang the chorus.

That the world is ugly
But you're beautiful to me
Well are you thinking of me now

I let my hand gently slide down his face, then stepped back again.

These are the nights and the lights that we fade in
These are the words but the words aren't coming out
They burn 'cause they are hard to say
For every failing sun, there's a morning after
Though I'm empty when you go
I just wanted you to know

I took his hand in mine and sang louder than I ever had before. Any ounce of passion I had in my body went to this song.

That the world is ugly
But you're beautiful to me
Are you thinking of me
Like I'm thinking of you
I would say I'm sorry, though
Though I really need to go
I just wanted you to know

I wanted you to know
I wanted you to know
I'm thinking of you every night, every day

I reached back up and wiped the tears off of his pale face. He smiled down at me as I continued.

These are the eyes and the lies of the taken
These are their hearts but their hearts don't beat like ours
They burn 'cause they are all afraid
When mine beats twice as hard

'Cause the world is ugly
But you're beautiful to me
Are you thinking of me
Like I'm thinking of you
I would say I'm sorry, though
Though I really need to go
I just wanted you to know

I, once again, placed my hand on his face and sang to him and only him. There was only us.

That the world is ugly
But you're beautiful to me
Are you thinking of me

Stop your crying, helpless feeling
Dry your eyes and start believing
There's one thing they'll never take from you.

Everyone clapped and cheered as the song faded out. We both smiled and he rested his forehead against mine.

"I love you so much."
