Y/N POV
"'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the Way's, not a creature was stirring, not even their friend Ray." Gerard spoke next to my belly.
"You're a fucking dork." I laughed.
"The stockings were hidden in a box somewhere because neither Gerard nor Y/N had properly prepared." he continued. "Mitch was snuggled up in their bed while visions of mice danced in his head."
"Oh, my turn?" I asked as he looked at me, "And mama in her pajamas and baby in her belly had just told daddy that he is a little smelly."
"Hey! Rude!" He rolled his eyes.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding," I chuckled, "A few weeks ago daddy asked 'what's the matter' and that's when we found out mommy would get fatter."
"Good one!" He cheered, "I don't think I can top that one, honestly."
"That's because I'm the best." I smirked. "I'd go on, but that's a long fucking poem."
"That's alright, we should probably get some sleep anyway. Santa's gonna be coming any minute!" He pulled me into his chest and covered us both with our blanket, careful not to disturb Mitch.
"He's not the only one that could be-"
"You are definitely on the naughty list, woman." He giggled. I laid my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat, the sound that I almost lost. "What's wrong?"
"I'm just so fucking happy you're here," I whispered, "I mean, spending the holidays without you would be absolute hell. Life without you in general would be absolute hell."
"Well you'll never have to worry about that," He wiped my tears away as he spoke, "Not until we're old as fuck. We can go like the couple in The Notebook!"
"Yeah, thanks for watching that with me by the way," I smiled, "I don't know what I would do without you, Gee. So many times I've almost lost you, but you always come back to me."
"And I always will," he kissed the top of my head, "I promise."
"I love you, Gee." I mumbled as I slowly began to drift.
"I love you more."
