[Riverdale Highschool]

Hazel

I finish brushing my teeth as I hear the roar of a motorcycle engine outside of the trailer. I smile and grab my bag as I see Toni, Fangs, and Sweet Pea on their bikes, ready to go. I look at Sweet Pea and he gestures for me to get on and I smile and advance toward him.

"Hold on tight princess" he says before starting the dreaded journey to school. We get to the school and walk through the blue metal doors. I say my goodbyes to my friends and look for the office to pick up my papers.

"Hi I'm new here and need to pick up some papers." I ask the nice lady behind the desk. "ah yes you must be Hazel Burns, transfer from Robertson High" the lady comments. I nod with a smile and take my papers from her hand, thanking her before leaving the office to look for my locker.

I put my things in my locker and take my notebook and papers with me. I notice that there is a lounge of sorts and since I'm early I have a few minutes to kill.

I sit on a small couch with enough room for two people and look at my schedule and map, planning all my routes from class to class. Suddenly I feel the space next to me dip down, only for my eyes to meet with those of a jock.

"The name is Reggie, and what is yours gorgeous?" he asks. I smile before saying "uh thank you, my name is Hazel" I reply. He scoots a little closer and asks "How about after school you let me take you on a date" he then puts a large hand on my knee.

I instantly feel very uncomfortable. "Um I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression but I don't date people I just met, or date at all for that matter" Standing up and walking out I bump into a strong chest. "oh, Sweet Pea you scared me" I sigh, putting a hand to my heart.

"I warned you Hazel, I want you to stay safe" He says in a husky tone. "Oh, y-you saw that?" I question. He just nods with a concerned look on his face. "what are you spying on me?" I joke. He just shakes his head and let's out a chuckle.

For a moment we were left looking in each other's eyes. I felt some temptation or something inside me telling me to forget everything I believe and let him have me. But I quickly snap out of it and look down at my feet, letting out a nervous giggle.

"I-I should probably get to class" I explained before walking away from him and walking to room 109.

What was that feeling I had, it has never happened before. I was so confused as I walked into my first class and sat down at a desk. "Hi you must me new here" a peppy voice says. I look up to see a girl with red hair and bright cherry red lipstick. "I'm Cheryl Blossom, aka Cheryl Bombshell, Riverdale's resident IT girl, feel free to tremble" I simply smile in response before introducing myself.
