[Calculus?]

Hazel
I woke up to my alarm being too loud for the ungodly hour it was. "Ugh Sweets get up we have school" I groan almost falling off of the bed.

"Careful there princess" Sweet Pea chuckles. I put my feet on the ground and walk over to Sweet Pea's dresser, taking one of his shirts. I pair the shirt with a blue plaid skirt, my serpent jacket, and some black boots.

He smiles at my outfit and gives me a sweet and short kiss. I toss him his keys as he grabs his jacket. "Let's motor" he smiles walking out the door.

I sling my bag over my shoulder and lock the trailer before walking down the steps and sluggishly wall to his bike.

"How do you ride in a skirt?" He questions. "I honestly don't know, let's just go" I laugh. He revs the engine and we once again start the dreaded trip to school.

"Toni said to meet in the lounge, Cheryl has some announcement" I inform Sweet Pea as we walk into the school. He nods and we walk hand in hand to the lounge where Cheryl, Toni, and the core four were.

"So guys, Halloween is coming up, and I want to have a party, you all are invited, costumes preferred" Cheryl announces to the group.

"Sweet Pea and I are gonna be there" I smile. He throws his arm around my shoulder and I link my hand in his.

"Hey guys I'm gonna be performing this weekend, I was hoping you guys could come" Josie says walking in. I ignore her, hoping she didn't mean us.

"Of course Josie" Betty replies politely. "Sweet Pea, Hazel?" She looks at us. I roll my eyes as Sweet Pea says that we will be there.

I get up off of the couch, leaving Sweet Pea alone. I hold my books close to me as I walk into my class.

"What's wrong Hazelkins?" Cheryl asks, sitting next to me. "I guess I'm just jealous. I kinda feel that Josie is trying to take Sweet Pea or something, she was eyeing him at the race" I inform her.

She smiles a straight smile before letting out a deep breath. "Well I mean they did have a little fling when the serpents first got here" she adds.

I let out a sigh and turn to the front board. I got bored by my teacher's lesson so I took my sketchbook out.

Damnit, again? How is it that I always end up drawing him? I sigh as the bell rings, signaling the end of class. I grab my books and walk out without saying goodbye to Cheryl.

Sweet Pea finds me in the hall and grabs my hand. "What Sweet Pea, I need to get to art" I grumbled.

"I just want to know what is wrong with you" he states. "It's nothing Sweet Pea, I need to go" I say before releasing my hand from his grip.

I sat in my art class, ready to receive the new project. "Okay class the new project is to create a piece inspired by nature. Go outside and get inspired, either make a painting, drawing, or my sculptors can even sculpt something" the teacher explains.

A smile forms on my face as I already have my project planned out in my head. The rest of class was spent looking a pictures of nature and drawing them.

After my third class the bell for lunch rang. I said goodbye to Cheryl before walking to meet the other serpents.

Toni and Fangs looked at me with sorry eyes before I sat down. "What's wrong guys?" I question with a smile. "Well the issue is" Toni was interrupted by Sweet Pea.

"Josie is going to join us today" he says, the dark skinned girl standing beside him looked at me with a hidden annoyed look. "Now that I think about it I have something to do" I say before grabbing my bag and leaving the table.

Sweet Pea jogs behind me and catches up. "Ugh Sweet Pea what do you want" I groan. "I don't understand what is wrong with you" he argues.

"Oh so you suddenly hanging out with an ex fling, isn't something I should be concerned by" I respond. He rolls his eyes replying with no.

"Okay, tell me then, why are you suddenly hanging out with her now" I question with my arms crossed. "I was helping her with calculus" he lies.

"That's a load of crap Sweet Pea and you know it. You are terrible at math. So when you have a better excuse then come find me. I'm going to our trailer and grabbing some things, I will be staying with Toni." I exclaimed walking away.

The trailer door opens and I quickly put some clothes into my bag before walking out the door.

I throw my bag to the side of Toni's couch before sitting on it.

I had watched three episodes of the show I watching when Toni walked in, tossing her school bag to the side.
She sees me on the couch and walks over to me. "So things didn't go so well huh" she asks. I shake my head before repeating his words to her.

"That's a shitty excuse" she agreed. "I know right" I chuckle. "Wanna get wasted?" She asks with a sad expression. "Yes please" I smile.
She shakes her head and grabs her keys. "Let's party" she laughs as she starts the engine.

We arrived at the Whyrm and immediately got drinks. Some of the other young serpents took this opportunity to use my pain as an excuse to party.

I was dancing with Toni to the music, which was amazing by the way. The alcohol had loosened me up, I felt free. Like I didn't have a possibly cheating boyfriend.

"You really know how to dance Hazel" Toni laughs after taking a sip of water. "Thanks Toni" I reply with a giggle.
"Hazel?" I hear from behind. "What are you doing?" Sweet Pea asks me. "I'm having fun, what does it look like I'm doing?" I reply

"Are you drunk?" He asks. "And what if I was" I slur. "Hazel I'm taking you home" he argues. "No, I don't want to go home with you" I groan, pulling my arm away from him.

"I can take her home" Toni says stepping in. "You're just as drunk as she is no way" Sweet pea says, grabbing my hand. "Stop Sweet Pea, Let me go" I argue. "Hazel you are drunk and don't know what you are doing, I don't want you to get hurt" he replies.

"That's a first, you didn't care when you were with Josie, I'm going home with Toni." I countered. He throws his hands up in frustration, walking away.

"Well he killed the mood, come one Hazel let's go" Toni says. I nod and follow her, blowing kisses to some serpents before we left the bar.

I crash on the couch as pass out. My dreams feeling more like nightmares as Sweet Pea and Josie were everywhere I turned.
