Hazel moves to Riverdale after her mother was murdered by her father, seeking refuge with her cousin Toni Topaz. When a certain tall serpent catches Hazel's eye, she forgets everything she believes and has to face her past and future all at once.

Hazel It was Saturday and I was finally able to convince Sweet Pea to let me leave the trailer to go to my own and get some clothes.
"So are you two living together now or what?" Toni asks as I gather some of my things into bags. "I don't really know Toni, it's just nice" I reply.
"I don't want to waste a second with him" I inform her. She smiles and nods in response, giving me a hug before I left for Sweet Pea's trailer.
As soon as I walked through the wooden door my feet left the ground and I was in the air. "Sweets put me down!" I squeal. "Not gonna happen Hazelnut" he teased.
I cross my arms together and pout before he drops me into the bed. Sweet Pea is hovering over me and we are both laughing at each other. He then leans down so our lips can meet for a sweet kiss.
I look up at him as he pulls away and smile. "Can we go to our spot?" I ask him. "Of course princess" he smiles and kisses me one more time before changing his clothes.
I decide to pack a blanket and some snacks because I intended for this to be a mini date for us. He smiled at me as I was leaning against his motorcycle ready to go.
"Okay princess I understand" he chuckles reaching for his keys in my hand. "Nope, I drive today" I inform him before throwing my leg over the bike.
He simply shakes his head and throws his leg over the bike and wraps his arms around my waist. I turn and kiss his nose before revving the engine and driving to our spot.
I put the bike in park and toss Sweets the keys before grabbing the bag and running down the hill. He catches up to me and we both fall to the ground laughing.
"Let's swim" I say with a smirk. He returns the smirk and instead of taking off his shirt, crashes his lips into mine. I am hypnotized by the intoxicating kiss not even noticing Sweet Pea tugging on my shirt.
I lift my arms and smile, allowing him to remove my shirt, returning the favor for him. We resume the kiss and I unbuckle his belt and he unbuttons my shorts.
We are both left in our undergarments and he reaches down to my thighs, picking me up. I wrap my legs around his waist and pull away from the kiss with a smile.
He laughs and runs into the water, both of us going underwater. I come up for air and slap his chest while he laughed. "You jerk" I laugh. He lifts me out of the water by my waist then brings me down to his level.
"You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen" he compliments. The blood rushes to my cheeks and I grab his face in my hands before giving him a passionate kiss.
We continue to swim for two hours before our bodies gave up and told us to take a break.
We were laying on the edge of the river, looking up at the sky when Sweets turns to me. "What's wrong?" I question. "Nothing it's just- I- am the luckiest guy ever" he stutters.
I smile as tears form in my eyes, pulling him in for another kiss. The kiss got heated as he sat up and I straddled his lap. His lips trailed from mine to my jaw and then my neck.
This was never something we had done before and it was amazing. He found a spot behind my ear that caused me to let out a small moan.
We both looked at each other, slightly confused as I blushed. "Um, that was, nice" I say before tucking a hair behind my ear. "From what I heard you really enjoyed that" he smirks.
I bite my lip and close my eyes and he begins to work on my neck again, surely leaving bruises. "Sweets" I breath out.
My head leans into his shoulder to give him better access to my neck. I plant a small kiss on his tattoo and he lets out a groan in return. "Sweet Pea has a sweet spot huh?" I tease.
I know that he rolled his eyes at my words because he pulls away to look me in my eyes. He smiles and ruffles my hair before laying back down.
I sigh before texting Toni, asking her to give me my serpent tattoo. "Hey Sweets, Toni said she can give me my tattoo today" I tell him.
"Okay we can go back now" he chuckles. "Where are you gonna get it?" He questions. "That's a surprise" I tease. He rolls his eyes before standing up and picking up the small mess we made.
"Carry me?" I ask with puppy eyes. "Ugh you are too cute to handle Hazel Burns" he says before picking me up the same way as we were in the river.
He drives us back to the trailer park and I walk into what was previously my and Toni's trailer but is now back to just her trailer.
"So cousin, wanna fill me in on Sweet Pea while I do your tattoo?" She questions with a raised eyebrow.
I groan before laying on the couch so she can tattoo me. The entire time I was venting about how amazing Sweets was and how all in I was with him.
"You are so in love with him Hazel" she says after finishing my tattoo. "What did you say Toni?" I stammered. "You love him, Hazel" she repeats.
"I don't know what that feels like Toni, I know that I love you, and I loved my mom, but I don't know whatever form of love you are talking about feels like" I ramble.
"It's okay Hazel, give it time" she says before rubbing my hair.
"Sweets just texted and said that he invited some serpents over to your guys' trailer for drinks and stuff" She added. "Okay sounds fun" I smile.
