Hazel
It had been a month since the fatal riot nights. Sweet Pea and I spent every moment we could with each other.

Currently we were laying on the couch, me between his legs. He gently strokes my hair to keep me calm. My panic attacks had been worse since the incident happened.

I was suddenly hit with an urge to tell Sweet Pea how in love I am with him. "Baby" I turn to him and kiss him passionately. "I love you" I whisper on his lips before re-connecting our lips.

He placed his hands on my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck. He pulls away slowly, looking into my eyes.   "Not that I'm not enjoying this, but what is this for?" He questions.

"I don't know, I guess I just need you to understand how much you truly mean to me." I answer. He smiles and hugs me close to his chest.

"I want to try again" Sweet Pea says. I sit up quickly, my face a mix of joy and confusion. "What?" I gasp. "I want to try for another baby" he smiles. I giggle and lean down to kiss him again.

He sits up and picks me up by my thighs, walking us to our bedroom. He lays me gently on the bed and kisses me sweetly.

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing. Looking at the unknown number I click the green button to answer. "Hello" "Good afternoon is this Hazel Burns?" A female voice asks. "Yes that's me" I reply.

"This is Melissa Barns with the Cleveland defense attorneys office, I was wondering if we could talk about your father's trial coming up" She replies.

I take a deep breath before speaking again. "Yes, what about it?" I question. "We need you to testify as a witness" she informs me. "W-Why?" I stutter. "Because no one else can help us put your father away for life like you could" she explains.

I quickly think over my options and decide what to do. "Okay, I'll do it, when is the trial" "They expect it to take around a month but the first date is July 8th" she replies. "You can count on me being there" I say before hanging up.

"What was that?" Sweet Pea asks. "I have to be a witness at my dad's trial." I inform him. "Oh, do you want me to travel with you?" He wonders. "Sweet Pea I'll be okay, I need to face him alone"
