Hazel moves to Riverdale after her mother was murdered by her father, seeking refuge with her cousin Toni Topaz. When a certain tall serpent catches Hazel's eye, she forgets everything she believes and has to face her past and future all at once.

Hazel "Come on Sweet Pea we need to get to the Whyrm to wrap gifts" It was a week before Christmas and I was excited for my friends to see the gifts I got for them.
"I'm ready I'm ready" he says jogging out of our bedroom. "How much sleep do you need Sweet Pea" I wondered. "You tire me out princess" he smirks.
I roll my eyes and walk out the door to wait by the motorcycle.

Toni and I were wrapping presents for the poor children of Riverdale when a group of serpents walked back in from a job.
Sweet Pea hugged me from behind and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I smile as I finish wrapping my seventh present. "I got you guys presents" I say to Toni and Fangs.
"You got me a gift" Fangs gasps. "Like duh" Toni muttered. I laugh and walk over to my bag, pulling out their small boxes. "Fangs you can open yours first" I smile. He unwraps the small red ribbon on the box.
"Damn this is sick" he says with a smile, admiring the necklace.

"I saw it in the store and thought of you" I laugh. "Thank you Hazel" he says giving me a hug. "Just don't get shot okay" I joke causing the whole group to laugh. "Toni you next" I say handing her the black box.
"Hazel, it's beautiful" she says with teary eyes. "I knew you would love it" I exclaimed. She pulls me in for a tight hug and kisses my cheek. "I will never take this off" she says after I clasp it on her.

I turn to Sweet Pea with a wide smile on my face. "Do you want to see your gift?" I ask him with my arms wrapped around his waist. "I mean it would be nice" he chuckles.
I roll my eyes and reach into my jacket pocket to pull out a pair of keys. His eyes light up and a smile finds its way on his face. "No way, you didn't" he gasps. "Go look outside" I suggested.
He takes the keys and runs out of the bar to see his new motorcycle.
It was a shiny black with new leather seats. "I love it princess" he says before picking me up so he can kiss me. We both smile into the kiss and I giggle as he lets me down.
"Now time for your gift" he smiles reaching into his pocket the same way I did. But instead of keys he pulls out a black velvet box. "Uh Sweet Pea" I stutter.
"Don't freak out Hazel, it's just a promise ring" he explains opening the box to reveal a beautifully simple ring.

"I know I'm not the man you deserve, I probably won't be able to provide the perfect life you so deserve, but I promise to love you till the day I die. You are it for me Hazel. With other girls I never felt the need to stick around but with you, I can't stay away." He gushed.
I had tears running down my face as he put the ring on my right hand. I cupped his face in my hands and kissed him passionately. "I am so in love with you Hazel" he says as we pull away. I smile "I love you."
••• So yeah write this because it is cute now I apologize if there are some time skips in the next couple chapters I personally am not a huge fan of filler chapters so...
