Tuesday 13th September.

I walked into the party attached to Sam's arm, the first few minutes of walking wasn't that bad, but I was feeling the pain now. "I told you to bring them" He mumbles as we get closer to the door, the music booming from inside. "and I told you I didn't want to use them" I mutter, as Sam opens the door to the party and i'm met with Ashley and Jordan. "Hey" I smile at them as they smile back, Jordan slightly tipsy already. "Hey Emma" Jordan chuckles as I roll my eyes, he knew that I hated being called anything other than 'Em' or 'Emmie' which was what everyone pretty much called me, but I also knew he hated being called 'Jordan' and preferred 'Jord'. "I can't wait to have a drink" Sam buzzes, walking me to the table where every drink known to man had been placed. "What are you having?" He asks as he picks up a bottle of Budweiser. "I'm not drinking" I mumble, picking up a can of Pepsi Max. Sam rolls his eyes, but drags me off through the house like it was a house he came to often, I didn't even know who's party it was.

Sam was walking around saying hi and speaking to people as we passed, I on the other hand was walking around taking everything in, this place was massive. "Em, you know the guys, and you've met Pel kinda" Sam chuckles as he stops in front of a seated area and Mitch, Warren, Nathan are set on the sofa, with Pel and two girls opposite, I didn't know who they was. "Hi" I smile, sitting down next to Nathan as Sam sits by the girl on the left side of Pel. "Em you look adorable" the girl next to Pel says, the sarcasm dripping from her words. She was wearing a low cut black dress, that i'm not sure covered anything, she was cuddled into Pel's side, but i'm not one hundred percent on why that bothered me. I shrug the comment off as she leans over whispering things down Pel's ear. "How about we do some shots" One girl exclaims, passing me a bottle of vodka. "Oh, I don't drink" I mutter trying to pass it over to Warren who laughs. "Where did you find this girl" She mutters to Sam, Sam shakes his head. "Lib just leave her be" He mutters, taking a swig of his drink. I shake my head and open the bottle of vodka and taking a huge gulp of it, feeling the burn go down my neck. Warren laughs whilst Sam shakes his head, he was the one that dragged me to this party in the first place. "Truth or Dare" The girl who's name I had now learnt was Libby. "Isn't that a childish game" I mutter, looking at the vodka that was now placed on the table in front of me, Mitch looking at me from the side, looking at me like I was an alien. "Not the way we play it" She whispers, sitting up from Pel's lap. Pel's lap dog, that could be her new name. "Emily, truth or dare" She chuckles as Sam rolls his eyes. "Truth" I mutter, looking over at Pel who had his hair in a bun, it looked fairly tight, he then had a grey t-shirt topped with some blue skinny jeans, a gold chain draping from his neckline, our eyes lock for a moment, and in that moment I was captivated by his eyes, how brown they really were when I saw him yesterday morning, but how black they looked now, and it didn't feel like it was the lack of lighting in the room that did it. "Weirdest place you've hooked up with someone" She chuckles, taking a sip of her drink, that was a pink as her hair. I look at the floor, and then up to Sam who is shaking his head, even Mitch's mouth was open, playing with his bottle in his hands. "D-Dare" I stutter, refusing to look up at Libby. "Wow are you a-" She starts but Sam cuts her off. "She said dare Lib" He mutters, taking another sip of his drink. "I dare you to kiss Pel" She chuckles, as Pel looks over at me, looking up from his phone in his hands, a small smirk playing on his lips. I run a hand through my hair, begging to get stressed.

I watch as Pel stands up, and slowly walks over to me. I stand up, leaning against the sofa where Mitch was sat, as Pel comes over to me, towering over me, I never realised how tall he was yesterday. "Are you sure you want to do this" He whispers, his beautiful Essex accent coming out. He brushes a stray hair out of my face and behind my ear, looking into my eyes, feeling the blush creep up on my cheeks. His face is inches away from mine, and up close he looked perfect, his skin looked flawless, his eyes were the golden brown I had noticed yesterday, and his smile was to die for. Why was I thinking these things? I had Harry. I loved Harry. Loved being past tense, I did still love him didn't I?
"I'm not doing this" I mutter, pushing Pel from me and hobbling to the kitchen to get a new drink, the taste of the vodka still evident in my mouth, making me feel sick. I didn't get how people drank like their life depended on it.

I grab a lemonade from the bar and take a slow walk up the stairs in the house, watching as people was running up and down and sliding down the banisters, it was out of control. As I finally get to the landing, taking in my surroundings I walk into an open bedroom, where a couple had just come from, I didn't even want to think about the things they were doing in here.

I look around the room and see books and books piled around, all my favourites, ranging from Fiction or Fact, Romance to Crime. Whoever lived here didn't seem like the partying type. I look at the window that was ajar, the cold breeze flooding into the room making me feel better, it was really hot. I walk over to the window, picking up 'Withering Heights' as I walk past, skimming the blurb, a book I had read so many times over.

I look out at the sky, it was still only early evening but the sky was a deep navy with the stars twinkling down, it was only then that I took in the surroundings. We was in a secluded area, it was fairly private, there was a few other apartments or houses dotted around, but there was gates to get into the main courtyard of it all. I stood leaning against the window frame, taking in the scenery, taking in the fresh air.

"What are you doing in my room?" I hear someone chuckles from behind me, I turn around at the sound of the voice and look at who it was. Pel. Perri. "Oh, I just yeah" I whisper, turning around fully to face him. He walks up to me, taking the book from my hands. "You are a book worm aren't you" He chuckles, looking at the cover of the book before throwing it on to his bed. I look down, urging my feet to move from where I was stood. "I believe you owe me a dare" He whispers, playing with the ends of my hair, making me look up at him. I get caught in his eyes again, they were just so enchanting, so vibrant, so peaceful. He brings his lips down to mine, hovering over them, not really touching mine, almost as if he was expecting me to press mine to his first. His lips linger there a few moments, but really it felt like years. "This isn't right" I whisper, moving my face away slightly. "I have a boyfriend" I whisper. "I know, Sam said" He whispers, his hand resting on my cheek slightly. "I don't know you" I whisper. "I'd like to know you though" He whispers, placing his lips on mine for a brief moment, it felt so wrong, but it felt so right all at the same time. I pull away quickly, walking as quick as I could out of the room.

What had I done?
