"Hello Castiel," Hannah said pleasantly as Castiel opened the front door for her.

"Hannah," Castiel greeted her," Thanks for coming so quickly."

"I had to wrap up a lead in Chicago, but I came as fast as I could," Hannah said, stepping inside, pulling her purse off her shoulder," So what's this emergency? You didn't say much over angel radio..."

"Hannah," Sam said walking down the stairs to greet the angel," Good to see you, again."

Hannah shook his hand saying," Samuel, the same, I'm sure."

Sam chuckled nervously then looked at Cas," Uh, Y/n's upstairs," then hurried back up the stairs.

"Thank you, Sam," Cas said, then turned to Hannah again," Y/n is a hunter-in-training. We had gotten solid information about Gabriel's whereabouts and went to rescue him."

"Where was he? Vegas? Los Angeles?" Hannah asked.

"Hell. He was captured by Asmodeus and drained of most of his grace," Cas said," We were ambushed and Y/n used some sort of power to save us all."

      "Nephilim?" Hannah asked.

"She doesn't remember doing it," Cas explained," We didn't say anything to her, but when we got back with Gabriel... she healed him. Almost completely."

"Did she realize what she did?" Hannah asked.

"She doesn't remember that either," Cas replied.

"Who are her parents?" Hannah asked.

"No idea," Cas said," Bobby raised her after rescuing her from the Chupacabra that killed her parents. You'd have to ask Bobby for more information on that."

"Hm..." Hannah hummed, then said," Take me to her... there may be some tests I can do that can narrow down the possibilities."

"Follow me," Cas said, then started up the staircase.

You sat on your mattress, trying to dig deep to forget. The room was crowded, but you felt more alone than you've ever felt. Dean leaned against the wall, his arms crossed, eyes locked on you. Uncle Bobby stood by the door, constantly readjusting his dirty, greasy baseball cap. Crowley, upon hearing that another angel was coming, left to go hide somewhere dark. Which no one objected to. The only one you found solace with, was Gabriel. He sat next to you, cooing quiet, comforting words. He held your hands in his, his thumb tracing along your fingers and palm.

"She's coming," you heard Sam whisper to Bobby and Dean.

They straightened and composed themselves as Hannah and Cas entered the room. You felt your stomach twist and you leaned closer to Gabriel. Gabriel squeezed your hand, his eyes fixed on Hannah as she looked you over from a distance.

"Y/n, this is Hannah," Castiel said," She's one of my most trusted allies. You can trust her."

You think how ironic that was. You couldn't trust the people she knew for most of her life, so how was she expected to trust a total stranger? Especially an angel... You felt a twinge of guilt as you thought about Gabriel and how gentle he was with you. Or Cas... before he found out you had mysterious powers.

Hannah knelt down, an arm's length away you might add, and said," I won't hurt you, Y/n. I'm just here to help you understand who you are."
