At 6 AM, you felt Gabriel pulling you from your warm sheets and carrying you outside into the biting cold. You were still half-asleep, and as such you were slightly delusional. You knew this wasn't a dream, but you were too tired to try and wake up. He placed you into the passenger seat, making sure to buckle you in before walking around the front to the driver's side door. When he turned on the car, a blast of cold air hit your face, yanking you out of your half-awake, half-asleep daze in a violent fashion. Gabriel quickly shut off the air conditioner, then apologized in a soft murmur before putting it into reverse and backing out of the motel's parking lot.
"Where're we goin'?" you mumbled sleepily.
"Bobby's house," Gabriel replied," Just checking in, that's all."
"Really?" you asked.
"Don't worry about it," Gabriel said coolly," Just rest."
So you didn't worry. You just rested. Your head slumped over onto your shoulder belt and you snoozed. You didn't even watch the trees pass by for a while. You just dozed off.
When you woke up, the car was parked out in front of Bobby's front door. You saw the Winchesters' Impala sitting out in front of you. Cool, Sam and Dean were here too... You wondered if Castiel was there too. You sincerely hoped Crowley wouldn't be there.
"Come on pajarito," Gabriel said under his breath as he worked his way out of the drivers' side door to collect you from yours," Let's get you inside for a siesta."
"I'm not tired!" you whined as he picked you up and carried you up the porch steps," I'm not 2, I don't need a nap."
"Of course you don't," Gabriel said with a smile as he knocked on the front door.
Bobby answered the door of course. He looked alarmed, but you couldn't tell because your face was buried between your arm and Gabriel's neck. With a quick greeting, he ushered Gabriel to the stairs to put you to bed.
"I'm not tired," you insisted, struggling out of Gabriel's grasp to stand on your own to prove your point," Stop acting like I'm 2..."
"Sorry, sweetheart," Bobby said apologetically," It's just... you look so-so... worn out."
"Whatever," you muttered," I'm going for the couch."
Again, you didn't notice because of your fatigue, but Bobby and Gabriel shared a concerned and reluctant expression. You flopped down on the couch, barely noticing that Sam was sitting on it too with his laptop computer.
"Hey," he said, scooting over to give you more room," Wow. You look tired."
"Don't start with me, Samuel," you growled, then let your head drop onto his soft, flanneled shoulder.
You could feel his shoulders shake with a silent laugh, then you heard the keys on his keyboard start clicking as he returned to whatever he was doing. You could hear Dean talking in the kitchen. You didn't bother opening your eyes to see if he was on the phone or if he was actually talking to someone. Eventually, you heard Castiel's low graveled voice respond dryly to some forgotten 70's reference. So the Winchesters' Angel Bestie was there.
"I guess we can get this meeting started," Bobby announced amid a tight sigh.
You felt Sam put his computer away and scoot over more. You sat upright, eyes opened, trying to focus on what was happening. You saw Gabriel approaching you with a slight saunter, then plop down on the couch side that wasn't already occupied by Sam. Now you were smooshed beside an archangel and a pile of flannel. But you were too tired to care. Besides, both sides were incredibly soft and warm. So it didn't really faze you.
