You drank your 4th shot of whiskey-gin without any hesitation. You listened to the satisfying thud your fist made as it hit the old, rutted, wooden bartop. The bartender gave you a raised eyebrow before pouring some more of the alcoholic mix into your shot glass. You stared at it before taking a sip. You needed to slow down, or you'd be in bigger trouble with Uncle Bobby. Just so long as you didn't pass out, you still held your end of the bargain. You glanced to your right at Lucifer who was watching you curiously as he took a sip of his beer.

"So. You knew my mom?" you stated more than asked, but your voice was slurring so it didn't really matter.

"Knew her? I loved her," Lucifer said, then smiled for the first time," She was the light of my life. My personal piece of Heaven."

"Hm. What was she like?" you asked, starting to feel a little bit more sober than before.

"Well, she loved competition," Lucifer said, his eyes twinkling with yesteryear memories," Thrived on it. Always running, jumping, beating everyone at anything she could find. She was determined and stubborn. If she couldn't win the first time, she won the second or third time."

"Was she an athlete?" you asked.

"No," Lucifer laughed," She wished she was, but she wasn't all... well... she wasn't normal. And she was afraid that people wouldn't accept her."

"She wasn't... human, was she?" you asked.

"No. No, she wasn't," Lucifer said softly, his smile disappearing," She was a Pureblood werewolf. The 8th generation."

You remembered your wolfing out episode with Gabriel and realized that's how you were part werewolf and angel. It was just a 50/50 combination. And since your mother was a Pureblood, you weren't chained to the moon cycles. Although the moon could still influence you to act more aggressively, as proven that night...

"And you are an... archangel, right?" you asked.

      "Yes," Lucifer confirmed.

"If you're from a different dimension or whatever," you started slowly," How did you get here?"

"I learned how to create a temporary door between alt-universes," Lucifer explained, then turned more towards you and started gesturing with his hands as he explained further," See, it's a simple snap of my fingers and I can create a door, then snap again and close it. Instead of letting the door sit open for any Tom and Harry to jump through and have a time limit of 24 hours to get back before it closes on its own."

"Useful," you said, then asked," If you're the hero in your world, then who's the bad guy?"

"Michael," Lucifer said," He's the Lucifer in my world. Basically does the same things, just without a sense of humor."

"I guess that makes sense," you said, recalling more stories Castiel had told you," But, if you and my mother were in your world, then why am I here?"

"Michael hates me," Lucifer said with a shrug," When he found out Kadi was pregnant, he was furious and tried to kill her. Multiple times. After the 5th attempt, I knew she couldn't stay in my world. So I placed her in this one with the hopes I'd be back for your birth. I hoped I could save her from the sure death of birthing a Nephilim by merging my grace with her soul. But Michael... he captured me and held me captive for two years before I escaped."

"And my mother died..." you finished softly,"... Did you even look for me?"

"Painstakingly," Lucifer said, his eyes rimmed with tears as he looked at you," I searched every orphanage, hospital, children's home, and prison I could find. But you were lost in the system and I lost hope. I thought maybe you had died or had been killed by some monster."
