"What's going on now?" Dean asked as he sat around the kitchen table with the other gathering hunters and angels.

"What are you asking me for?" Bobby asked in a surly tone," Jody called this meeting."

Dean raised his hands with a mix of annoyance and surrender as Castiel and Sam sat on either side of him. Gabriel and Bobby across from them on the side closest to the door. Jody had rounded up Lucifer and was herding him into the kitchen with a less dazed Crowley behind her. Lucifer passed by a chair and proceeded to lean against the countertop, allowing Crowley to sit in the available chair. Bobby and Dean made eye contact and shared a surprised reaction.

Jody stood in the doorway and asked," Is this everyone?"

"Should I call some more?" Bobby asked.

"If you want to wait for them, sure," Jody said," This is about Y/n."

"Figured that out already. Thanks," Sam said with a shrug," How's she doing?"

"The detox drained her energy, but that's over now and we have a new problem," Jody said.

Everyone shifted in their seats, trying to suppress sighs of discouragement, thinking that they may not be able to save you. Jody rolled her eyes.

"It doesn't have to be a problem if you just listen," she said sternly," And by the way, when did you forget to mention Y/n's half-angel?"

"And werewolf," Sam added quickly," She's also part werewolf."

Jody stared at him, mouth gaping, before quickly recovering with a," And that. Thanks for the warning, y'all."

"Did she tell you she was part-angel?" Castiel asked.

"No. The wing bones growing under the kid's skin did," Jody said," And that's the cold hard truth."

Lucifer choked on the glass of water he'd been drinking. Everyone snapped around to stare at him.

"Trouble with the water there, darling?" Crowley taunted.

"Sorry," Lucifer said quickly, wiping his mouth into his jacket's sleeve," She said not to say anything about it."

"You knew about this?!" Bobby demanded," You knew and you didn't say something?!"

"She was pretty specific not to say anything," Lucifer said defensively, trying to make himself as small as possible," She promised she'd tell you herself."

"What are you talking about?" Castiel asked, visibly confused.

"Yeah, what's happening?" Gabriel asked, also confused.

"Uh... Y/n is my daughter, as you know... and in my world, Baby Angels birth their wings physically before the wings become metaphysical," Lucifer said stiffly, his lips pursed together tightly.

"And these wings, they're under her skin?" Bobby asked.

"On her back, you can see where the bones are pushing up," Jody said," I want to bring Y/n down so you can see, but I'm afraid that will scare her even more."

"What does birthing their wings mean?" Sam asked, looking at Lucifer.

      "It's a surgery," Lucifer stated.

"Surgery?" Bobby asked," What-what, are there angel doctors in your world?!"

      "Yes," Lucifer said.

Bobby stopped for a moment and thought about it," So... do the wings hurt her?"

"Eh, it's more like pressure than pain and it-..." Lucifer tried to suppress the agony he knew you were in, but Jody cut him off.

"Extremely," Jody jumped in," She can't control the wings so any movement she makes could make those bones move and push up against the rest of her internal organs and muscles."

Lucifer nodded when Bobby looked at him for confirmation. Dean shook his head as Sam stared into the table. Castiel was looking at Gabriel who was sitting stiffly in his chair, lost in the space of his own mind.

"Gabriel, you've been uncharacteristically quiet," Bobby stated.

"I'm still stuck at the part where Luci there choked on water," Gabriel said.

Lucifer looked at him curiously, then shrugged as he took another sip.

"Alright, well we've heard from the Peanut Gallery over here," Bobby remarked," Yo, Satan. Got any helpful tips here?"

"Lucifer, not Satan," Lucifer stated," You could start by calling me by my real name. Second, I have a friend from my world who is an expert in these matters. If we could take Y/n to him, we could have him evaluate and eventually perform the necessary surgeries."

      "What's his name?" Gabriel asked.

      "Gadreel," Lucifer answered.

Dean and Sam and Castiel reeled.

      "What?" Lucifer asked.

"I don't know how he's seen in your world, but in ours," Castiel explained,"... Gadreel is the reason that Adam and Eve were tempted by you-... I mean, our Lucifer, to eat the Forbidden Fruit. He died trying to redeem himself."

Lucifer made an," Oooh..." sound, before clearing his throat and stating," You can trust my Gadreel. He's a good angel, and an even better doctor."

"Maybe we should go ourselves and check everything out. Just to be sure," Castiel suggested.

"Wonderful," Crowley said sarcastically," What about me? This isn't really my scene. In fact, I'm not sure why you dragged me down here, sheriff."

"Mostly to annoy you," Jody responded with a hand on her belt.

"Going to my world is no problem," the alt-Lucifer said encouragingly," Return trip too. I just want Y/n to be safe and comfortable. And I personally know she needs your support, more than she needs me."

The hunters and angels and demon glanced around at each other. Jody looked at Lucifer and eyed him with a mix of suspicion and awe. Lucifer looked away, acting shy because he was unused to that particular look.

"Sounds alright to me," Bobby said resignedly," When will we go?"

"Whenever Y/n is strong enough for the journey," Lucifer said," I've been told the trip is quite a ride for someone who's unprepared."

"Jody, how's Y/n doing?" Sam asked softly.

"Scared," Jody said," Very, very scared. She thinks that she's too much trouble for you to handle. Donna's up there with her. I think she was trying to get Y/n to sleep."

"If Y/n's not safe, we're not doing it," Sam said, turning to Lucifer.

"I know this is stupid of me to say, but... trust me, I wouldn't have it any other way," Lucifer said with a soft look in his eyes," She's my child. She's all I have."
