A Daylight Ride chp.1

Hey people, just thought i would give a shout out to ba-jeans, if you could please read her story, arranged marriage to my best friend, it would mean a lot to her, much thanks :))))

Ok, so their first parts of this story are going to be about Amy and Drew and how they grew up and had their baby. The next parts after that are going to be about Carmen and how she feels about everything and everyone. The parts after that are going to get into when she gets taken and what happens when she's there. So, here's chapter 1!

Chapter 1

*******AMY POV*******

Carmen, get your butt down here!" I screamed from the bottom of the stairs. It had been fourteen years since I had gotten married to Drew and since I had my baby. We had found out it was a girl and named her Carmen. We had been overjoyed that we had been so lucky to have a wonderful child. She even took on after me, she loved to sing and dance and she had even preformed in a few shows with me on Broadway. She was a very talented little girl. She took on after Drew too; she had his eyes but overall looked like me. We were even expecting another baby, Drew and I had learned last week it was going to be a boy, we planned on naming him Flynn.

 She ran down the stairs.

"What?" she asked running up to me in the kitchen

"How many times do I have to tell you not to leave your plate on the table?" I said while I started drying the dishes.

"Sorry" she mumbled picking up her plate and coming to help me

"So your birthday is in a few weeks, are you excited?" I asked handing her a bowl to dry.

"Yes! Is Mark coming over?" she asked excitedly

Mark was out next door neighbor's son who was Carmen's age, she seemed to have taken a liking to him lately, she had been over to their house multiple times and every time she would come home happy. I was happy my little girl had found a friend but Drew wasn't all too thrilled about it; he said she was too young to have a boyfriend and I agreed but we had a talk with Carmen and she had insisted they were just friends and I trusted her.

"Yes, Mark will be there" I said smiling. We were inviting all of our family and her friends over for a barbeque.

"Yay!" she squealed and grabbed another dish.

"Sweetie, you don't have to help me, go upstairs and do something fun" I said and smiled

"Mom, you're pregnant, I want to help you" she said taking the dish out of my hands

I smiled. My girl was the sweetest, kindest, and most caring ever.

"Thank you sweetie" I said grabbing another dish.

I heard the garage door open and Drew walked in the front door.

"I'm home" he bellowed taking off his coat and putting down his briefcase

"Daddy!" yelled Carmen and ran up to hug him

I smiled. Drew got a job as a lawyer and he was often on trips. However, that didn't stop us from being madly in love. I still loved Drew just as much as I did fourteen years ago and I knew he still loved me too, hence the new baby on the way.

"Hey honey, how was Sacramento?" I called from the kitchen

"It was great, we won the case" he said laughing

I turned around to see Carmen wrapped around his waist hugging him. Drew had gotten very tall a few years after we got married so he towered above Carmen and I. He tried to pry Carmen off him but she had a firm grip on him, she was definitely a daddy's girl.

"Carmen, I got something for you" he said

She squealed. "Really?!" she said letting go and jumping up and down

He chuckled. "Yes, it's in my briefcase" he said grabbing it and opening it. He pulled out a small object and handed it to her.

"Oooooh, I've been wanting new earrings, thank you daddy!" she hugged him and ran up the stairs

He laughed and walked over to me

"I missed you" he said grabbing my waist and kissing my lips.

I smiled. "I missed you too" I said and kissed him back. I had to stand my tip toes to kiss him now. He had at least a foot on me.

"How's the baby" he said putting his hands on my stomach. I was five months pregnant so I had a pretty round belly.

"He a little kicker, he missed you" I said rubbing my belly. He put his hands on it and leaned down. The baby gave a rough kick and I grunted.

"I felt that one" said Drew smiling

"He knows his daddy is home" I said kissing him again. He wrapped his arms around my now not tiny waist. And kissed me with everything he had. We hadn't seen each other in a month and he was definitely going to make up for it. He pulled away.

"I'm going to go unpack" he said and took his stuff upstairs. I followed him up and helped him. When we were done, it was almost ten; he had gotten home around eight.

"Well, we better call it a night" I said sitting down on the bed.

"I'll go say goodnight to Carmen, you stay here and rest. He said kissing my head and walking out.  I went to our closet and changed into pajama shorts and a maternity tank top I had when I was pregnant with Carmen. I turned around to walk back to the bed; I felt two strong arms circle my waist. I turned around to see Drew standing there. I smiled and stood up on my toes to kiss him

"Get ready for bad mister" I said messing up his hair and walking away

He walked into the closet and I undid the bed. I crawled into it and grabbed my book from the headboard. I looked over the rim of my book and saw him walk over in just his boxers. Even though it had been fourteen years, he still had a perfect six pack and I didn't have a single wrinkle on my body. I felt the bad dip and I turned to see him sitting next to me. I put the book down and scooted up close to him and intertwined our legs. He wrapped his arms around my belly and kissed my head

"I love you Amy"

I turned myself to face him. "I love you too Drew" I said and kissed him. "I'm glad you're home, I missed you next to me at night"

"I missed you too Amy, it's nice to be next to you again" he said and kissed my belly

I pulled his head to mine and kissed him more passionately. It was good to have him home. "You know, you have a lot to make up for" I said in between kisses.

"I think that will be easy" he said pulling me on top of him. He deepened the kiss and I smiled agenst his lips

I felt the baby kick hard and I grunted. I put my hands o my belly and rolled off of Drew. I breathed heavily.

Drew laughed. "Way to ruin the moment little guy" he said rubbing my stomach

I laughed and kissed his hand. "I love both of you"

"I love both of you too" he said and smiled

"Good night Drew"

"Good night Amy, goodnight Flynn" he said rubbing my belly again

The baby kicked hard again and I grunted again. I fell asleep to the sound of Drew laughing.
