Ok, so this is the last chapter so sad :,'( but oh well, not i can satrt my new story that i've been dying to write!!! haha. please dont be mad at me after you read this chapter, there was going to be more but this chapter just kind of wrote itself you know? so yeah, there is NOT going to be a prolouge because i think this chapter kind of explains it all and i dont think theres a reason to explain what happens later so...yeah. CHAPTER 39
I woke up on top of Jace. He had his arms wrapped around my waist. I smiled and brushed a piece of his brown hair out of his eyes. His eyes opened and he smiled
"Good morning" he said in a husky voice
I laughed "Good morning"
My stomach growled and Jace laughed
"Are you hungry Carmen?"
I smiled "Maybe"
"let's go get breakfast then" he said trying to get up
"But I don't wanna get up!" I whined
He laughed again "I think your stomach disagrees with you"
"Fine" I grumbled and rolled off of him
I put my robe on and Jace and I walked into the living room. I flopped down on the couch and Jace went and sat on one of the stools
"Morning Carmen, Jace" said Jessice
"Good morning" said Jace
"Morning" I said and yawned
Daniel walked in
"Morning guys" he said walking up to Jessica and kissing her on the cheek
"Morning" we all said happily
Daniel flipped on the TV and the news popped up. I thought I saw a fimilliar face on the screen
Daniel changed the channel
"No, wait! Turn it back!" I yelled
Daniel gave me a funny face but turned it back
"Samuel Howards, a drug dealer in New York was caught the other day and arrested fir many murders and the illigeal selling of drugs" said the man on the TV
my mouth dropped open. I looked at Jace who's eyes were wide. He came over to sit by me on the couch.
"Whats going on?" asked Daniel, "Do you two know that man?"
I shushed him and turned my attention back to the TV
"Howards has been on the FBI most wanted list after a young girl and boy escaped from this man's whearabouts and came to the police"
a picture of Jace and I flashed on the screen
"The young boy was said to be the Howards son, Jason who was kept in a small room in the basement of the house and was abused by his dad for most of his life. The girl is said to be the daughter of Amy and Drew Parker and was kidnapped by Howards for reasons we still do not know. The both of then escaped just about three months ago. Carmen is now back in the custody of her parents along with Jason who her parents took in. Just last week, authorities broke into Howards house and he is now being held in New York. Authorities found various drugs throuout the home and there was a boy who we believe to me Mark Howards, Howards step son in a small cell like room in the basement of the house. Mark was found dead in the cell alon lg with some female clothing and a small lantern. We do not know the cause of death but we assume it was from lack of food"
