CHAPTER 29

Dear Diary,

It's been a month since Jace first moved in with us and I don't think I've ever been happier. I think my parents really like Jace and their getting used to the idea that were together. Sometimes, either my mom or dad will walk in while were kissing but they don't seem to mind as much they did before. I really should learn to close the door when it's just Jace and I alone. Jace is coping really well to this new life. He always says that he's with me which I think is sweet but I think on the inside, he's really excited about everything. Sometimes I really feel bad he never had a normal childhood but then again, if he didn't, we would never have met. I don't mean to sound selfish but that's just the way I feel, I love him so much. Seriously, sometimes it kills me how much I love him. you would think that being out of that cell and all would affect the way we feel about each other but it hasn't changed a thin; we still love each other. Sometime last week, Jace passed his test to get a driver's license so now he can drive. Isn't that exciting?! I was really proud of him. we ended up making out afterwards anyway but that something different... Anyway, mom and dad enrolled us both in school. Jace took an equivalency test and he surprisingly passed so he was put into seniors. I on the other hand, was put back into tenth grade. I wasn't really happy about being away from Jace for seven hours a day but I saw him in the halls sometimes and at lunch so I was doing ok. It felt weird to spend time away from Jace since we had spent every day together for almost seven months. Today is Friday and Jace and I just got home from school. Normally, we would be up in my room but today, Jace is outside playing with Flynn, I can tell he really likes him. Flynn is the perfect little brother. He's so playful and he giggles whenever I see him, it's so cute! Well, anyway, I better stop writing because my hand is starting to hurt and also, I was a little jealous that Jace was with Flynn and not me but I would never tell him that so shhh! So, um... ya bye.

I closed my diary and smiled. It had been a long time since I got to write in it so I decided I should just do it now considering Jace was outside with Flynn. I looked behind me out the window and saw Jace with a silly face and Flynn was laughing. I set my diary down on the coffee table and walked out to the back door. I leaned on the frame and smiled watching Jace. I couldn't believe he was all mine. It was like a dream come true. I know I was only fifteen but all my life I dreamed of finding someone perfect and now I finally have.  Jace turned his head and our gazes met. He smiled and gestured for me to come over. I walked over and kneeled next to him. He kissed me on the lips quickly. He pulled away and I groaned and pulled his head back to mine. He smiled and kissed me back willingly. Flynn made a weird sound and Jace and I turned to see him sticking his tongue out at us. We laughed and stood up. Flynn started to gurgle and make bubbles in his mouth. I laughed and Jace did too.

"He's so cute isn't he?" I said to Jace

"Yeah, he is, just like his sister" he said and smiled

I blushed and bit my lip.

Jace kissed it and smiled

"I love you"

"I love you too"

"Do you want to go up to my room and hand out?" I said grabbing Flynn off his play mat

"Sure" he said and rolled up the mat

I walked back inside and sat Flynn on his little high chair

Jace grabbed my hand and we walked into my room.

We hung out there for a few hours just listening to music, talking and laughing. After a while, my mom came in

"It's getting late you guys, why don't you go to bed?"

I yawned. "Ok mom, goodnight"

"Goodnight sweetie" she said and closed the door behind her

I got up and walked to my dresser. I grabbed pink silk shorts and a black tank top. I walked to the bathroom to change. I slipped the shorts and tank top over my underwear and blue bra. When I was done, I saw Jace sitting on the couch in pajamas pants and shirtless. I stopped and stared. Jace laughed and walked over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist

"Is someone staring?" he said playfully

I blushed and looked down

He laughed. "It's alright" he whispered

I looked back up and smiled

He looked at me lovingly

"I love you Carmen" he whispered, grazing his lips against my neck making my shudder

"I love you too"

He brought his lips up to mine and kissed me.

I melted into his arms and kissed him back.

He grabbed one of my thighs and I wrapped it around his waist. He lifted the other and hoisted me up. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he pushed my closer to him. I felt him walking but I didn't care.

I continued to kiss him as I felt him place me gently on my bed but I didn't let go of him. He sat down next to me and I pushed him down so I was on top of him.

He moved his hands to the small of my back and gently tugged on the end of my tank top. I wiggled a little and he pulled it over my head.

He rolled over so we were facing each other and kissed down my jaw to my neck.

I took a deep intake of breath and pulled his head back to mine. I moved my lips withi his and we both smiled

I heard the sound of someone clearing their throat and Jace and I both sat up in surprise and I saw my dad standing in my doorway with an angry look on his face

"Oh my god!" I shouted and Jace pulled me behind him, covering my chest

"Carmen, what the hell are you doing!?! And Jace you're supposed to be sleeping on the couch!" he said angrily

"Dad, we weren't doing anything!" I said trying to cover myself

"Then why are your shirts off!" his face was getting slightly red

"I...um, well" I stuttered

"Well what?!" he screamed

"Jason, get your stuff, your sleeping in the guest room and Carmen, I'll talk to you in the morning!"

Jace jumped off my bed, grabbed some stuff and almost ran to the guest room.

I pulled my knees to my chest and looked up at my dad warily.

"Carmen, I don't know what you were doing but I'm very disappointed in you" he said angrily and sadly

"Dad, we weren't doing anything!"

"I don't want to hear it Carmen now goodnight!" he said walking out and slamming the door

"Oh crap" I muttered

What was my dad going to do?! I swear, Jace and I weren't going to do anything, I'm fifteen, I'd never do that!

I grabbed my tank top and slipped it on over my head.

I sunk deep into the covers of my bed and tried to go to sleep. I hope my dad doesn't do anything to Jace. It would kill me if he got in trouble for this. It wasn't his fault. Slowly, but difficultly, I fell asleep
