Chapter 2

I woke up in Drew's arms. Suddenly, a wave of nausea came over me.

"Shit" I mumbled

I jumped out of Drew's arms and ran to the bathroom. I emptied my contents into the toilet. When I was thought I was done, I went to the sink and brushed my teeth.

I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist and I turned around to see Drew staring at me with concern in his eyes.

"Are you ok Amy?" he asked kissing my head

"Yeah" I mumbled and kissed his lips. "Good morning" I mumbled on his lips

"It is now" he said kissing me harder

I felt the wave of nausea come back and I cursed in my head. I shoved Drew off me and ran back to the toilet. When I was done, I went and brushed my teeth again.

"Are you ok, again" asked Drew

"Being pregnant sucks" I mumbled and went over to hug him. He pulled me tight agenst his chest. "Drew?" I mumbled on his chest

"Yes?" he asked running his hands up and down my back

"I'm hungry"

"I see" he said laughing. "Scrambled eggs?"

"You know me" I said looking up at him and smiling

"I know" he said kissing my head and walking into the closet.

 I huffed, might as well get ready. I stripped and jumped in the shower. I looked down and sighed. I couldn't see my feet; great.

When I was done, I went to the closet and got dressed. I put on sweats and a maternity v-neck shirt. I walked down stairs and saw Drew scrambling some eggs. I smiled and snuck up behind him. I wrapped my arms around his waist and kissed his neck.

"I love you" I whispered

He turned around and kissed my cheek. "I love you too"

I let go of him and went to the fridge. "Is Carmen up yet?" I asked pulling out the orange juice

"I don't think so" he said putting my eggs on a plate.

"I'm going to go wake her up" I said walking to the stairs

"Ok" he shouted back

I walked up the stairs, down the hall and into her room. She was fast asleep. I smiled, she looked so peaceful. I walked over to her bed and sat down on the edge. She stirred and opened her eyes

"Morning mom" she said sitting up

"Good morning sweetie, are you hungry?"

She nodded

"Daddy's cooking downstairs, shower and get ready, well make you something to eat.

"Ok" she yawned and stocked off to the bathroom to shower

I walked back downstairs to see Drew sitting at the table eating. I walked over and sat in his lap.

"You want some eggs?" he asked handing me his plate

I nodded and ate the rest of his food

He laughed. "Someone was hungry"

"Mmmhmm" I said with my mouth full. I got up and went outside. It was a nice day; I decided I wanted to go for a walk.

"Drew!" I called

"What!" he called back

"I'm going on a walk!" I shouted

"Ok, be back soon, I love you!" he shouted

"Ok, I love you too!" I shouted and walked out the back gate.

*******DREW'S POV*******

My beautiful daughter walked down the stairs in jeans and a brown tank top. I sighed, we needed to talk.

"Morning daddy!" she said walking in the kitchen and grabbing a glass of juice

"Morning sweetie, listen, come have a seat." I said pulling out a chair and gesturing for her to sit down.

"What is it daddy?" she said sitting in the chair and looking up at me. "And where'd mommy go?" she said looking around

"She went on a walk and I need to talk to you about the way you look" I said sitting in the chair next to her

"What's wrong with the way I look?" she said looking herself over

"Nothing's wrong with you, it's just that your developing and I'm concerned about boys"

"Oh" she said looking down and blushing

"Don't be embarrassed sweetie, it's ok, I'm your dad, and you can talk to be about anything."

"Well, alright then" she mumbled. "What is it your worried about?" she asked looking back up at me

"Well, sweetie, I've noticed you're developing quickly and your mom told me you started your period last year."

"Daddy!" she said and crossed her arms

"Now don't get mad, it's ok, you're turning fifteen in a few weeks and I don't want boys crawling all over you"

"Dad, I'm not going to do anything with boys!" she said

It was strange, she must be a little upset; she never called me dad. "I know, I believe you, I'm just warning you that it's going to happen" I said stroking her hair

She sighed. "Ok daddy, I'll be careful but please don't tell anyone I started my period, I didn't know you knew that" she said grimacing

"I'm sorry sweetheart, don't worry, I won't tell anyone if you don't want me to" I said smiling

"Ok, thanks, are we done?" she asked looking up hopefully

"Yes, were done" I said smiling and standing up. Just then, Amy walked in the back door and smiled

"What are you guys doing?" she asked walking over to the couch and sitting down

Carmen gave me a pleading look and I winked

"Nothing much dear, how was your walk?"

"Fine but my feet are killing me, this baby is getting bigger" she said rubbing her stomach

I heard Carmen laugh and she walked over to her mother

"I'm excited for my little baby brother" she said smiling and rubbed her mother's stomach

Amy laughed. "I'm sure little baby Flynn is excited to see you too" she said smiling and then grunted.

"Is the baby kicking again?" I asked walking over and putting my hands on her belly

"Yeah, I think he can tell his big sister loves him already" she said smiling.

Carmen smiled and then got up. "Can I go to Sadie's house?" she asked looking at me. "She called earlier asking"

Amy laughed. "Sure honey"

"Thanks mom" she said walking over and giving her mother a hug. "I'll be back later" she said walking to the front door

"Be careful!" I yelled

"I will dad, bye!"

"Bye sweetheart!"

I heard the door close and I turned to Amy. "We have a wonderful daughter, you know?" I said smiling

"Yeah, we do"
