Serene's POV

"But still! You're an idol" Those words just slipped out of my mouth and those sincerity in his eyes just faded and turned into sadness and pain. I suddenly felt guilty

"But I'm also a human..." he said with a sad tone. I'm dumbfounded. I just hurted this man's feelings.

Silence

In that brown beautiful eyes of his, i know there's something strange. And judge me for i can control that but it surely hurts me.

"Look I'm sorry, i just...don't want you to get in trouble just because of a girl that you don't even know. I might be a total jerk now but i just want you to be safe..." i said and held his hands. He was shocked at first but it faded.

"And you're even worried about someone you don't totally know." he said with a sad smile and squeezed my hands. His hands are warm. Yung kamay nya, yung pagkakahawak nya ay napakasarap sa pakiramdam.

"Don't worry too much about me. I won't be here always since we have to attend interviews and guestings." he said with an assuring voice. Napabugting hininga nalang ako. I was being too protective and professional.

"Won't i bother you? Instead of resting you have to deal with me?" i asked him. Naninigurado lang naman.

"Not at all. I'm used to it, we are used to it and i'll be having more fun with you around" sabi nya tapos kinindatan ako. Natulala na naman ako habang sya inaayos na yung kinainan namin at tumayo para itapon yung mga basura. Sinundan ko lang sya ng tingin. Nakangiti syang bumalik at dali daling kinuha ang kamay ko.

"Kain na tayo ng dinner" he said still holding my hand.

"Teka nakapajama pa ako--"

"You look gorgeous whatever your clothes are, maybe better without them" he said while showing his sly smile. Hinampas ko sya kaya naman natawa sya.

"Hoy anoba tara na nga!" sabi ko sabay bitaw sa kamay nya at nauna nang lumabas ng pinto. Narinig ko pa syang nagchuckle bago sumunod sakin. Parang tanga eh kung hindi ko lang sya nasaktan aalis na ako agad.

"Huy teka lang!" sigaw nito at hinawakan yung kamay ko nung naabutan nya ako at nakangiti syang nakatingin sa harap. Napangiti nalang ako. Hindi ko alam kung swerte ba ako...kung alam ko namang hindi ito pangmatagalan. Naalala ko tuloy sinabi ko nung nagtruth or dare kaming magkakaklase.

Flashback...

"Oooh si Serene yung tatanungin natin hmm interesting!" sabi ng kaklase kong si Vianna kaibigan ko sya tapos lakas ng tama promise. Mysterious kasi akong tao kaya ayan interesting daw.

"Truth muna ako, wala pa akong gana" i said without changing the tone of my voice.

"Sige sige ako magtatanong. So stepsis, kung makakausap mo si Minjae for 30 minutes anong sasabihin mo?" ito naman si stepbro, si Gideon, he's my boy best friend and yeah yun tawagan namin. He the best boy best friend ever!

"I'll slowly, step by step, ask him to stay more than 30 minutes" i said while smiling slowly.

"WAAAAAAAOOO!!"

"YES PO THE HAMBOG PO!"

"SHEEEEEEEEEEET LAKAS MEHN!!"

natawa nalang ako sa mga sinisigaw nila, ganon na ba ako nakakakilig? Parang mga tanga eh, kilig na kilig ang mga loko.
