WuAi continued to half ass ignore LiDong. It wasn't like she could fully ignore him since they now worked together. But when she gave orders, it would usually be:

"ZuoShou, Tell Brigadier General LiDong to go do this." or "Send him to go do that."

Even in the same room, she wouldn't look him in the eyes, and just handed him the document. It would write:

'Please submit this to Lieutenant General ZhengYi' or 'Please do a reconnaissance at this building'

LiDong would always catch her while eating though. But that also meant a certain someone else would also catch them eating.

"Excuse me."

WuAi merely slanted her eyes towards her, "Lieutenant General MingGuang," and nodded to her. She had given up saluting. The amount of times now that this female lead had entered their meal was just infinite. She didn't give up no matter what reaction LiDong gave her.

"Major General WuAi!" the female lead smiled brightly. "Glad to see you here with Brigadier General LiDong."

LiDong gave up even acknowledging her. His gloom just permeated the air. He was able to catch WuAi all the time, but there was always this person in his way.

He ignored MingGuang by putting a piece of spam on top of rice and served it to WuAi. "Ahh..." He called out.

She gave him a disgusted face, but then quickly moved her eyes away. She wasn't going to talk to him. "I don't like rice!" She muttered under her breath.

He smiled, he knew. "It tastes good with the spam. Try it."

The spoon touched her lips, but WuAi continued to purse her lips together.

"Oh, that looks delicious!" A hand appeared to grab the spoon, and a big face filled LiDong's view.

This damned MingGuang, thought LiDong. He threw down the spoon and grabbed another one. MingGuangs face however was triumphant. Today she was able to eat from his spoon. WuAi sighed in relief. She gobbled up her food and left. If only there wasn't a rule that didn't allow her to bring food back to her office, she would have done it. LiDong too left with her, leaving MingGuang to eat alone.

Immediately tons of men flocked to her at her table. She was the Lieutenant General after all. Getting to know her would do them good.

With this, MingGuang thought up an idea.

One day, WuAi received a rose. On it was a letter. 'Your secret admirer from MG#1 Major.'

The next day she received 2 roses from different people, 'Your secret admirer from MG#2 Captain.'

And the next day an extra rose from someone under MG#3.

The next day, there was an extra rose. This accumulated so that her entire office was filled with roses.

The flower shop must be earning bank.

System55566688833: Yes, they upped the prices today. Host, you have so many admirers.

Who is buying them?

System55566688833: Who else?

These are all coming from people who are under MingGuang's direct supervision. Not one rose has come from people under ZhengYi's direct supervision.

...

Well until today.

LiDong came in with 99 roses.

"Get out." WuAi said to him.

He resolutely stood there. "No, if other people can send you roses, why can't I?"

You know what, he's correct. She dialed ZuoShou's number, bring Brigadier General out please."

Something muffled came out from the other side, but she couldn't hear it clearly. But she was quickly distracted by LiDong who had kneeled down by her side.

She turned towards him in confusion, "You--"

He searched her eyes for something and then raised himself up to kiss her lips.

It was a long kiss, and it was a kiss that he won. As he was able to enter his tongue and leave her breathless. WuAi's eyes had misted over in embarrassment, and she tried to cover her short breaths. Pink looked nice with her silver hair, he mused.

She immediately stood up and pointed to the door, "You just disrespected your superior. Get out."

Her eyes were bright and teary. LiDong didn't feel one ounce of her anger, he only felt that she was too cute.

He stood up, and his height towered over her. His fingers touched over her red lips, that he had just kissed. WuAi stiffened at his touch. His eyes hooded to conceal his anger. No one was going to take his WuAi from him. No one.

But he still talked to WuAi gently, "Remember to come home tonight, your parents told me to remind you it's your birthday." He brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ears.

It seemed to be her birthday, and she indeed forgot again. Wait, why was he telling her to come home. No, wait. He was in contact with her parents?

She glared at him, but he only softly smiled back and left. Not forgetting to close the door behind him. How could someone else besides him, see the angry kitten?

WuAi sat at her seat in exasperation. Yes, she can see the obsession. Yes, she saw the effort. Yes, but she was still a Beta, and he was still an Omega.

She slapped her face awake. She realized that she had left the phone call on with ZuoShou.

The more she heard from the call, the more she was sure that he was being beat up. Who dared to hit her men, only she was allowed.

She angrily walked out of the office to her tech team. "Trace ZuoShou's device right now. Send me the navigation when you find it. Action team. Follow me."

She walked out of the building to her car and LiDong followed her. She was forced to talk to him now. "No, you take care of the things here. Send me an update." LiDong nodded and headed back up.

She left Action team 3 in the building. All her men were trained, but her action team was still the main offensive power. She had to leave some behind just in case. She directed them to dissipate throughout the garage, then left with the rest of the team.

Just driving out of the town the Legion was in, was hard. They were isolated and far from everything so it took time to reach the city.

Through the car speaker, she heard her tech team say, "We've traced it to E city."

"Team 1, cover the exits. Team 2, follow me." Within a couple of minutes they arrived at E city. Her men set to invisible mode and then entered the city. Seeing a flock of similar cars targeting the city, would make the city folk worried.

"The buildings are too tall to pin-point his location."

"Spread out," WuAi snarled to her team.
