The next day, since WuAi had graduated from school now, there wasn't anything important for her to do. She woke up at 6:30 am. Woke up the servants as well. They were so scared to see her face hover over theirs first thing in the morning, only to be told by her to go back to sleep. This was their punishment for yesterday. WuAi proceeded to eat a quick self-made breakfast at 7am, dragged her men to go training at 8am, and finally they were able to eat lunch at 11am. Her men glared at her from behind, this was her revenge for yesterday. They hungrily scarfed down the food to replace their energy.
The Omegas slowly woke up one by one and she greeted them each one. They were quickly served hot congee, youtiao, and scallion pancakes with beef.
Later, she brought real estate agents, and told the Omegas to go check out houses. She told them that she was going to her family home for celebration and they let her go.
She received the latest headset from her brother, a multiple use hair tie from her mom, and a mini knife from her father. XiaoTian got her a hairpin. It was decorated with her favorite flowers-violets. And XiaoPeng sent her a vanilla-violet perfume. XiaoPeng liked making perfume, and WuAi especially liked this smell that she made.
She also received little snacks and chocolates from the Omegas and her servants. There were only so much snacks she could eat in a day. But she gratefully thanked them and received their gifts.
The rest of the days were uneventful.
In the middle of the summer, she finally got an official letter from the 1st Legion, saying that she was to be accepted to be the Major General (MG) and to move in at the beginning of the fall season.
The male lead was actually able to stay at her mansion this entire time, while the other Omegas had long been gone. No matter what she said, he wouldn't budge. She just gave up. Even if he couldn't help her with anything, he was only an extra mouth to feed. She found out his name was LiDong and was the same age as her. But WuAi basically treated him as her son and had her servants provide him with whatever he wanted.
One day, he stood outside her office for a long time, and WuAi couldn't take it anymore, "Come in." She called out. He came in holding a packet of red juice and peeled oranges. She raised an eyebrow at him, "What is it?"
He quickly went around her desk to place the fruit platter in front of her, "That... ummm...." He shifted his weight around, "I can be of help to you!" WuAi waited for him to continue, "I can hack into things."
Huh, Hong84, with what skills did he use to get into the 1st Legion?
System55566688833: Affirmative, it was his computer skills.
WuAi stared at him strangely, as if to ask where could he have learned hacking skills. Her servants did not report him buying any books.
He blushed a little bit, and WuAi looked at this male lead who was her age. He was now standing at attention in front of her desk. "Ok," WuAi started talking, "bring your computer in and try to hack into mine."
He zoomed out and back within seconds. He settled down at the sofa, and WuAi cracked her knuckles. There was no way she was going to lose badly with her nerdy brain. He first sent an virus contained within an email, which she soon deleted. But apparently deleting the email still forced the virus onto her computer. While fighting the virus, she attacked the security measures on LiDong's computer. She undid the coding and filled his screen with pink unicorns saying, "I have won!" LiDong could no longer see his screen to attack her computer so he surrendered by putting his hands up.
For the first time, he looked towards her with worship. He had thought his teacher was the best, so when he finally beat him, he thought of himself as the best. But there was always going to be bigger mountains behind mountains.
She snorted at him, "I'm in the 1st Legion, boy. I have to be good." She waved him away. Just when he was almost out the door he heard her say to him, "You have talent, keep it up," and then the door closed shut.
WuAi decided that she was going to train this Omega and have him enter the Legion early. He will distract the female lead from bothering her, and the Legion will be easy peasy lemon squeezy. The next day, she brought textbooks and projects over to LiDong's room. "Good luck!" She called out, before leaving for the rest of the day.
There were plans to be made, important people to meet and things to destroy.
