System: Hello WuAi, my name is System55566688833. Welcome. You have been selected from millions of other options, but I chose you... just because.
WuAi suddenly felt like she could breath. She opened her eyes. Everything was blue. Was she able to breath underwater now?
System55566688833: No. You are dead.
WuAi whipped her head around. Who was talking?
System55566688833: Once again, I'm System55566688833. I will be your system from now on.
All of a sudden a willow tree materialized before her eyes and a full grown white tiger sat atop the low branches. The tail swung back and forth lazily.
System55566688833: Stand up child.
WuAi stood up obediently without thinking. The car ruins from her death disappeared into the blue.
System55566688833: Come here.
WuAi walked through the leaves before arriving close to the tiger. The white tiger seemed to stare at her pitifully.
System55566688833: Child, do you not remember anything?
WuAi shook her head. Except for her name, drowning, and feelings of regret, she couldn't remember anything else. The tiger slowly moved its head over so that the snout touched WuAi's forehead. The system was able to tell that WuAi would be able to recover her memories by transmigrating. The tiger nodded its head, she was still savable. Luckily the system had accumulated tons of points from previous transmigrators so it was now a S-Rank Transmigrator System. Which meant that her new transmigrators didn't have to be worried about:
1. OOC-ing
2. Those annoying "higher-ups" with-holding information
3. Being deducted points or punished if they fail missions/die. Of course they would have to re-do the world in that case. When the mission was accomplished, the host would immediately be ejected out of the world as the original host would no longer need her help.
Once WuAi recovered her memories and earned enough points, she could change her own fate.
Those were the rules the system placed down before WuAi.
The system then extended it's paws to touch the ring that was placed around WuAi's neck. It's eyes seemed to gleam before dulling the next moment. Perhaps it was destiny that they were supposed to meet. WuAi also extended her gaze to the black ring on her chest.
System55566688833: But in order for you to regain these memories, I need this ring.
Since WuAi didn't know where this ring came from, she willingly gave it over.
There was a moment of pause. One could ask questions, but the other wouldn't know how to answer.
System55566688833: Any questions?
WuAi shook her head again. She just wanted to leave at this point, she didn't want to stay surrounded by blue, it was suffocating her.
System55566688833: Then we shall begin.
