I sat at my desk taking my book bag off putting it in the empty seat beside me "What you doing in here ?"
"Ms. Tallahassee not here so they split the class up."
"Ain't her husband here ?"
"Nope. Neither one of them here. They probably said fuck them kids today." She shrugged.
I chuckled crossing my ankles "Some of y'all not in Ms. Tallahassee 7th period class." Ms. Ali spoke as the bell rung.
"Yes huh Ms. A."
"I know. I checked everybody name off as they came in the classroom." She chuckled closing the door. "Well, Since it's split today, Y'all can chill and talk. Just don't be too loud."
"Fashion Nova having a sale. I'm finna go fill up this cart." Yahyah unlocked her phone.
"They are ? Ouu." I picked my phone up unlocking it as well clicking on safari.
"It better be some cute shit on sale. Thee fuck ?" She rolled her neck. "MS. A ! Hit up the Fashion Nova sale !"
"Girl I filled my cart up last night. I'm just waiting on my man to say he gone buy my cart."
"It's some cute stuff on sale ?" Amira asked.

"I needa hurry up and graduate so I can get a man with money." Tiasha scratched her head.
