Asteria's pov
Nandito kami ngayon ni wael sa hotel dahil kinausap ako ng kapatid niya na gusto niyang isurprise si wael ngayong birthday niya. Halos wala akong tulog dahil plinano namin to mag damag.
~Flashback~
"Hi!" Papasok na ko ng kotse ko ng biglang may nag salita.
Maganda, maputi, mahaba yung buhok at maamo ang mukha. Pamilyar yung itsura niya pero parang never ko pa siyang nakita.
"What?"
"Can we talk?" nakangiti niyang tanong.
"Who are you?"
"Ahh yeah. I'm Yana York. Wael's younger sister." tss kaya naman pala pamilyar e. Pero parang hindi sakin nabanggit ni wael na may kapatid siya.
"Hop in" pinapasok ko siya ng kotse ko at sumunod naman siya. Dinala ko siya sa isang coffee shop.
"I heard you're close to my kuya" pag sisimula niya ng usapan.
"What do you want?"
"Yah! He really is your friend tch. You two are both cold"
"What exactly do you want?"
"Psh! I want to throw a surprise party for him. As you know I just got here yesterday. I actually planned to come home before his birthday to prepare a party for him because he never celebrated a big party. You know, He lived half of his life by his own. So it's either he celebrates it by drinking or he doesn't celebrate at all."
"What do you want me to do?"
"Help me. You're his friend right? So you know what he wants." hindi ba to nangangalay ngumiti? para siyang wael girl version. "But I'm also curious about something"
"What?"
"Is there something going between you two?"
"What?" napataas yung isang kilay ko sa tanong niya.
"I don't mind! You're pretty. well umh you seem cold but I don't think you will be kuya's friend if you're not nice. Yieee! I'll call you sis from now on."
"Tss, mag kapatid nga"
"Huh?"
"Btw, would you mind if I ask?"
"Sure sis! Ask me anything" excited niyang sabi.
"Where have you been all this time? Bakit hindi kayo mag kasama ng kuya mo?"
"Hmm I guess he never talked about me. Well, anyway he doesn't like to go abroad so he chose to stay here by himself. You know, It's my lola and lolo left."
"What about your parents?"
"Well they died early."
Nabigla ako sa sinabi niya kaya napatahimik na lang ako. Kaya pala never niyang inopen up sakin yung about sa family niya.
