~late at night, Ivan and Cora's room~

Ivan's pov

I lie down on the bed and sigh relieved with my eyes lock on the ceiling.

The soft light from the lamp at the bedside tables is a very relaxing tone with all the other lights turned off and the room is quite darker than the usual but right now this is all I need.

I took a bath again, I put some casual trousers and I am waiting for Cora to get ready for bed. She also wanted to take a bath because she was in tension, we were at the hospital for hours, then we left to go and check on everyone to get sure they were all perfectly fine and I hope this helps her relax because I am worried.

At least this day is over and we all made it, we are all safe and sound with Caleb and Noah being out of danger.

Noah is at hospital with Leo, as the doctors told us he is in a pleasing condition, he will have no problem at all, he is already better and fortunately Cora's blood really helped him. He is going to leave hospital in about two days because they need to run lots of tests on him and I can't believe what I am about to say now but it's true. I am happy he is safe and he didn't die.

Alright, I know that this sounds weird and crazy as he wants Cora, he has harmed her, he is the reason she nearly died so many times and he is still claiming her but now I know Cora's story, I am calmer and I can see things better... Cora wants him alive because they had a son together, Miles is the most important thing to her although he is not alive and I know she is doing everything she can to make him proud of her. She needs to feel he approves her actions and Noah is a part of her past... They had a bond once, they created something together and I understand her.

So this is why I want him alive, because Cora is happy and Miles is pleased.

And also, Caleb and Leo are this family's members now, Caleb is Alena's mate, Leo is already like a brother for us and they love Noah, it is logical and I don't want them to suffer, they don't deserve it!

Now that I mentioned Caleb let me tell you about his condition, I am sure you want to know about him and Alena and I agree with you. We went to stay for a while with them before we leave hospital and I have to say that I am excited for them. You had to see Alena's face, she was shining, she was so calm, cheerful and she wasn't leaving his side for any reason. This is the first time she is acting like this and I am happy for her, she had to be happy after so many years and now that Cora is going to become the Queen, Alena is going to have all the time she wants with Caleb! By the way, he seemed quite emotional, we told him about Noah, he cried from relief and then he became the well known Caleb, the kind, funny, strong and entertaining man. Alena is going to sleep there to take care of him as he is not able to stand up till now and I am moving on because we are not over.

Sebastian is sleeping, thanks God for this! He listened to us and if you ask me I am sure he did it for Cora because she was worried about him and she is right. This man proves to be everyone's rock and I can't express how grateful I am we have him! He really loves not only Cora but Alena as well and I can't deny that I feel safe next to him. Cora did the right thing for forgiving him and he is really showing how much he has regretted and what Cora means for him.

And of course after Sebastian we have Owen, Chloe and our little Cora! Yes, I am a crazy uncle and I am proud of it, this girl is definitely something and I understand Owen that is melting for her. I think she has taken some things from Cora and not only her name because this girl is sweet and very clever. She knew that something bad had happened and we were all missing and when she saw her parents she dragged them to take a bath and took them clothes to wear, she also had their bed ready to lay down all together and she was trying to put Owen to sleep like he was a baby.
