Millie was submerged in her thoughts when she saw that Jacob was approaching her locker.

"Great, here comes the idiot..." She thought, but to her surprise, Jacob only gave her a nonchalant look but there were no insults, there was no teasing, that was strange, he kept walking as if she did not exist.

"That was weird". Sadie's voice almost caused her a heart attack.

Millie approached ignoring all the murmurs and laughter of people, practically the entire school could see the scene, Millie approached slowly smiling like crazy.

"Mills, you don't have to answer now, I know it was stupid to ask like this, if I embarrassed you, I apologize and ..." "Finn!" Millie cut him off.

"Do you really want to go out with me?". She asked ... Finn dropped the sign and approached her.
