"Okay Remus, you must drink a goblet of wolfsbane everyday until the full moon next week. It does have a rather foul taste but once you've drunk that take the remainder and drink it before breakfast each morning." Mcgonagall said as she offered Remus the cauldron of liquid. Remus nodded and dipped a goblet, filling it with the potion. He took a small sip and grimaced. "That is putrid." He groaned, Silver giggled and rubbed his back, "Awww poor Remy." Remus rolled his eyes and continued sipping on the goblet.

Professor Mcgonagall turned her attention to Silver and Sirius who were stood near Remus watching with disgusted looks on their faces. "Silver is going to be trapped somewhere in the castle, she will be tied in unbreakable chains. You've got to use your bond to find her within five minutes. Then you've got try to break the chains without touching them as they are charmed to burn you." The pair nodded and Silver followed Mcgonagall out of the room. Sirius turned to Remus who had turned rather pale after finishing the wolfsbane. "So what exactly does that potion do?" He asked peering into the cauldron, Remus sighed and looked to the boy.

"It makes me weak, so the werewolf side can't hurt me anymore. I'll still transform but alike Silver I'll only be a wolf, I'll still have consciousness." Sirius nodded and smiled widely, pulling the lycanthropy into a hug. "Congrats dude, I'm excited to be there during your first full moon as a conscious wolf." Remus chuckled and hugged him back. "I'm going to the common room, I'll see you when this is done."  Sirius nodded and waved him off out of the room.

Moments later, Mcgonagall returned and smiled to Sirius, "You have five minutes to find her and for Merlin's sake Sirius, please find her before the timers up. We don't have long before the full moon now. " Sirius nodded and ran out of the room, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. When he opened them, he saw a faint blue line on the marbled flooring. He followed the line through corridors, down staircases and round students. He finally came to a broom cupboard under the third floor stairs, using his wand he busted it open to see Silver wrapped in chains. She was deathly pale and breathless, struggling to keep her eyes open. "No one should ever have to be locked in a cupboard under the stairs." She giggled breathlessly, her eyes closing more and more.

Sirius closed his eyes again and focused his mind to melt the chains. Silver copied his reactions and tried to force the chains off her. For a few minutes, nothing seemed to work but then one of the links began to melt. Silver opened her eyes and busted the chain open. Sirius pulled her into a hug and breathed a sigh of relief. "Took you long enough." She giggled, gasping for breath as he held her tight. "I love you, Princess." Sirius said rocking her back and forth, she smiled and kissed his cheek. "I love you too, Siri." The pair made their way back down to a proud Mcgonagall. "Well done you two, Sirius can you give us a moment please?" He nodded and sent her a puzzled look.

"I'm aware that it's your birthday tomorrow, so here's a present from me just to say well done for the past few sessions." Silver smiled and thanked her pulling the woman into a hug. Mcgonagall notice the ring on her finger and gently pulled her hand closer to take a better look, "Silver this is a lovely ring, I'm assuming Sirius gave it to you?" She smirked and raised an eyebrow up at the girl. Silver nodded and looked down at the silver ring with the black and blue jewels. "Yeah, he gave it to me at Christmas. It's only a cheap one from Hogsmeade he said, but I don't take it off." Mcgonagall chuckled and shook her head, "Silver, that ring is a Black family heirloom. It's given to the oldest son of the family to gift to the woman they someday hope to marry." Silvers eyes widened as she looked down at the ring, she felt tears glaze over her eyes, "He wants to marry me." She whispered, smiling down at it.

The professor shooed her out of the room chuckling as she began sweeping the floor. Silver began making her way back to the Gryffindor common room when she found her path blocked by Dumbledore himself. "Hello Sir," She smiled up to the headmaster. He smiled back down at her and handed her square box wrapped in brown paper, Silver struggled to carry the large package from Mcgonagall and the medium sized one from Dumbledore. "Happy birthday, Miss Snape. A simple present from me." Silver thanked the head master and carried on with her travels to the common room.
