36 ~ New Encounters

"Good morning, Silver. We have two new arrivals that have joined as they are at risk of being under attack from Death Eaters. There have been an increase on them lately so they've come here for protection." Silver nodded and followed Dumbledore as he lead the way into his office. Sitting inside were two very handsome boys, they were clearly twins and looked almost identical. They had dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes, the only difference between them both was their sizes. The boy on the left was rather skinny and lacked muscular definition as well as him having his left ear pierced. Whereas the boy on the right, appeared to be taller and muscular. His face was chiseled and even Silver had to admit he was extremely handsome. He wore a silver-band ring on his middle finger and another matching one on his index finger.  When Silver noticed the rings she looked down at her own, anger filled her as she removed the black and stone ring and matching bracelet that Sirius had given her, shoving them into her pocket.

"Silver, this is Hunter and Tyler Cole." Dumbledore said as he pointed to the boy with the rings then to the boy with the earings. Silver smiled and waved, "Boys, this is Silver Snape. She is a valued member of Gryffindor house and a chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch team. She'll show you around the school and make you feel welcome." The boys smiled up at her before standing and shaking her hand. Dumbledore lead them out of the room and left the three alone to allow Silver to show the boys around. 

"You're a Veela, aren't you?" Hunter asked as he leant against the wall beside the entrance to the office. Silver smile and nodded slowly, "How'd you know?" She giggled. The boy smirked and shrugged his shoulder, "Lucky guess." Silver rolled her eyes and began making her way down the stairs. "Where do you want to go to first? The Quidditch Pitch, the Great Hall, library, common room, dormitory?" Silver listed with the body following behind, they remained silent, Silver rolled her eyes again. "Hunter, I can feel you staring at my ass." The boy chuckled and sped up so he was at her side. "Alright, alright. So, do you have a boyfriend, Love?" Silver blushed at the nickname and giggled. She paused for a moment, did she have a boyfriend? But her question was easily answered as they turned the corner. Silvers face fell as she saw the sight, Sirius Black was making out with a sixth year Ravenclaw girl. 

Silver froze, her whole body stopped in their tracks. The twins noticed her sudden reaction and flew into action. They linked arms with her on either side and steered her away down a corridor. Tyler leant close to her ear and whispered, "Quick laugh like I said something funny." Silver immediately let out a twinkly giggle and the twins quickly joined in. Sirius' head shot in their direction and scowled upon seeing the three. 

"Apparently not." Silver answered as they stopped and took a seat at the bottom of a flight of steps. "That was your boyfriend?" Tyler scoffed sitting next to Silver. She nodded and looked down at the marble flooring, "A seventh year gave me a love potion and Sirius caught me making out with him. My others friends tried to explain I was under a love potion but he wouldn't listen. The next day he was caught sleeping with my roommate." Silver explained, she felt tears form in her eyes as she thought back to the Spring Ball. He'd said he wanted a future with her, kids, marriage and now they couldn't be further away from that.

"He gave me this ring, it's his family heirloom. It signifies that he'd hoped that he would marry me one day. Guess I'll have to give it back to him soon." Silver said, pulling out the ring and showing the boys. Hunter sat on the other side of Silver and pushed the ring back into her pocket. "Well then, you need a better one to replace it." He pulled the silver band off his finger, "The smaller one should fit on your tiny fingers." He chuckled as he gently slid it onto Silver middle finger and beamed down at her. "It may not mean I'm going to marry you, but now we have matching rings and that is much cooler. Am I right Tyler?" The other twin chuckled and nodded. "Silver, he ain't worth it." He sighed placing his arm around the girls shoulders and resting his head on her shoulder.
