37 ~ Last Games Disasters

James woke up the following morning with a spring in his step. Today was the final Quidditch game of the season and Gryffindor was one game away from winning the house cup. They only had to beat Ravenclaw  by ten points and the house cup would be theirs and they had a great chance of winning thanks to Silver. "Wake up, Cub. We need to fill you up this morning ready for the game. Come on, let's get some food down you, we need out best player on top performance." James called as he jumped out of the bed making Lily groan at the loss of warmth. He stormed over to Hunters bed and began trying to tug Silver out of Hunter grasp. "Get off, James!" Silver demanded as she cuddled in closer to Hunter. James groaned and attempted to pull the blanket off the two. "James Potter, I swear to merlin if you don't let me sleep I will aim a bludger right at you head." James instantly dropped the blanket and stormed back over to Lily. 

Hunter broke out into laughter, "Awww come one Love, just let him wake you up. I'm quite excited to see you play." Silver groaned and sat up, "I hate you, Prongs." James chuckled and jumped up pulling Silver off the bed and pushing her out the room and down the corridor. "Go get changed, I want you wearing your best Quidditch robes." Silver rolled her eyes and giggled, "Alright, alright, I'm going." She returned to the dorm about ten minutes later. She wore scarlet robes with the number 8 on the back, SNAPE, was written in gold lettering above it. Her hair was carefully wound into a neat braid with red and gold streaks, clearly done using her Veela powers. 

"There my star player." James grinned as she entered the room, Silver scowled at him and climbed back into Hunters bed and pulled the blanket over her head. "Ohhhh, James is in trouble." Ivy sang as she sat up in bed and stretched her arms. Lily chuckled and got out of bed, "We're going to get changed and we'll meet you down there." Silver waved from beneath the covers as the girls left, laughs escaping their mouths as they shut the door. "We better get ready too," Remus said as he began to wake up Peter who was still heavily sleeping despite the noise. Tyler jumped out of bed and opened his wardrobe pulling out a scarlet red jumper and throwing it on over his head. 

"Why, how do you have that?" Hunter chuckled as he climbed out of bed too. Tyler made his way to the mirror and began combing his hair, "I knew we were going to be in Gryffindor and I wanted to be prepared." Hunter sent him a confused look and raised his eyebrow. "How did you know we were going to be in Gryffindor?" Tyler chuckled and sat down on the floor, "Well you don't have a bad bone in your body, so that's Slytherin out. I'm not exactly the brightest child now am I? So bye bye to Ravenclaw. The only other one was Hufflepuff but I doubted we'd be in that." Hunter nodded slowly and chuckled. He grabbed a black hoodie and pulled it on. Silver emerged from the blankets and sat up on the bed, "Ready for breakfast?" Hunter asked as he turned around. His face dropped as he neared closer to the girl, Silver sent him a puzzled look. 

"Silver your eyes." He muttered, Silver wandered over to the mirror and looked to her reflection. Her eyes widened as she saw that her usual black iris had now changed completely. They were now an almost illuminating purple with streaks of gold replicating lightening. Silver closed her eyes trying to change them back to normal, she opened them to see they were still the plum, purple colour. "You didn't do that with your Veela powers did you?" Tyler asked as he came closer to see her eyes better. Silver shook her head, a look of confusion filled her face. "We'll figure this out later, but now you've got a game of Quidditch to prepare for." Hunter grinned as he helped Silver up, she nodded and allowed him to lift up her weight. 

The three made their way out of the dorm and in the direction of the Great Hall. James, Remus and Peter were already sat down. James was excitedly yapping about tactics to the other two, who seemed rather bored whilst eating their porridge. When seeing Silver James jumped up and threw the girl a banana, "Eat up, we've got ten minutes till we're meeting in the changing rooms." Silver caught the banana and took a seat opposite him, Hunter and Tyler sitting either side of her. The group began making their way up to the Quidditch Pitch, Hunter pressed a kiss on the top of Silvers head as James and Silver turned on the path towards the changing rooms and the others made their way to the stands.
