49 ~ Last Mission

A/N - Another sad chapter, I'm very sorry. But to add effect I recommend listening to Chord Overstreet - Hold On. All you Vampire Dairies fans will remember "I was feeling Epic" but now this is my version.

"Thank you all for meeting, we have yet another mission. For obvious reasons Silver and Lily are forbidden from partaking in the mission. But for now, due to this being suspected as a much larger attack we'll be requiring more people than normal. So I have put myself, Alastor, Molly, Arthur, Benjy and Sirius. Please be ready to leave almost immediately, we must get there almost before they do." The Order were in Silver and Sirius' house preparing for the next mission which would go ahead that evening. They'd been given secret intel that the group would be much larger than they'd had before. The others nodded and began gathering equipment they would need. Silver looked to Molly and Arthur, they were looking at each other stunned with their children in their arms. Sirius wandered over and began engaging in conversation with them about the mission. "We'll have to find someone to look after the children, we can't have them staying here alone." Silver smiled weakly and joined them. "I'll do it, it'll be good practise for when I have mine." Molly and Arthur thanked the girl and chuckled to themselves. Silver always enjoyed looking after the boys, they were always well behaved for her, well except the newborn twins. They weren't well behaved for anyone. 

Sirius turned to Silver, only he would be able to spot the worried glint in her eyes. "We're going to be okay, baby. I promise, we have more of us going so there is a larger chance of us winning." Silver nodded sniffing back tears. Sirius pulled Silver into his arms and placed his head on top of hers. "Just in case, I love you Silver and I love our little girl. Make sure you bring her up well, and hopefully I'll be there with you." Silver could no longer sniff back the tear as they flowed down her face. "That's not helping." She giggled slightly, wiping them away. Sirius chuckled and pressed a kiss to her lips. "I love you too, Sirius. Please be safe." The man nodded before breaking from the hug and going over to speak to Dumbledore. Silver turned to see Molly and Arthur saying goodbye to the boys. Silver wandered over and held out her hand to Molly, she looked down at it puzzled. Silver opened her hand to reveal Newts ring, "Wear it, I want to make sure you're safe." Molly initially shook her head, insisting that Silver must keep it. Silver rolled her eyes and force it into her hands. "They can't grow up not having a mother, I won't let them when I knew there was something I could've done something to help."

"Thank you, Silver." Molly beamed slipping it on her finger and pulling Silver into a hug. As they separated Dumbledore announced that it was time to leave. Arthur held Mollys hand as they disapparated. Sirius pressed a kiss to Silvers cheek before he too left. Silver turned to see the house now empty due to everyone having left other than the small children. The twins were fast asleep while Charlie, Bill and Percy were playing on the floor. Silver sat on the sofa and smiled as she watched their games.

"Okay Alastor, you and Sirius take the back entrance of the house. Benjy, you and I will take the front, I want Molly and Arthur, your main concern is the wizards and witches. Keep them safe and locked upstairs, there's no way we can get them all out without being seen." Everyone nodded and assumed their positions around the house. Molly and Arthur had shut the family in one of the bedrooms and told them to hide. They guarded the door with their wands at the ready, the Death Eaters were sure to arrive soon. 

Sirius gripped his wand tightly as he looked over to Alastor Moody. Moody nodded to Sirius which he returned, indicating they were both ready for the fight that was to come. Dumbledore sent blue sparks through the house indicating the Death Eaters had arrived. "Leave now and all shall remain unharmed." He and Benjy seeming significantly out numbered. The Death Eaters cackled and instantly spat curses at them, Dumbledore blocked most of them whilst Benjy shot back spells. Some managed to get past and into the house but Dumbledore and Benjy still held themselves strongly.
