"I don't know what to do." Dumbledore said as he looked at Silver who was sat at the kitchen table in the other room, refusing to turn back her Veela. James and Sirius jumped up from the sofa, sending Dumbledore an irritated look. "What do you mean, you don't know? You've got to know! You're bloody Dumbledore! You're meant to know everything!" James argued throwing his arms around in an angry manor. Dumbledore chuckled, "Maybe I'm not as wise as people perceive me to be." James marched up to Dumbledore and looked him square in the face. "Well, you've got to be! You go in there and do you weird little wise, motivational speech and get her to turn her Veela on right now or so help me, if you think I've been bad for the past six years, just wait because I can be much much worse!" Dumbledore chuckled and shook his head, James was growing more and more angry by the second as his breathing rate increased. "I don't know what to do, but I'm sure Minerva knows." He said calmly indicating to the woman standing behind James. The two boys spun around to see Mcgonagall watching with a large grin on her face, "For the past six years we've had good boy James? I'd hate to see what would happen otherwise." She chuckled to herself, walking over to James. By now James was the same height as her, almost taller. "I'll do everything I can, Sirius come give me a hand." The boy nodded and followed Mcgonagall into the kitchen.

"James, can I have a word?" Dumbledore grinned, James reluctantly nodded and followed the headmaster into a seperate room. "Look, I'm sorry. I'm just really stressed with Silver, I didn't mean to shout or snap. I just don't want her to get hurt anymore." Dumbledore grinned and nodded as he looked down at James. "That is very understandable and I don't hold you to it. We all say things we don't mean when we are angry. It is not what we say but what we do that shows us where our hearts truly lie. But that's not what I wanted to talk to you about. As you know, I have to select a head boy and a head girl from Seventh year. I was thinking Miss Evans would be-"

"Yes! Lily would be amazing at head girl, she's always wanted to!" James said eagerly cutting Dumbledore off his last words. The old man chuckled and nodded, "Yes, I agree she would be amazing. But, I need a head boy to go with her and I think that headboy should be you, James." The boys eyes widened as he looked back at Dumbledore. His mouth fell open as he looked at him in shock, "But sir, I wasn't a prefect." Dumbledore shook his head, a large grin playing on his lips. "That is true, but I believe you've shown a large amount of maturity and nobility this year and that is what being a head boy is all about." James thanked the professor continuously, jumping about excitedly.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Mcgonagall was looking over Silver. "Well, if you won't turn your Veela back on, we'll have to do it for you." Mcgonagall grinned as she looked at Sirius who looked back at her in confusion. "Sirius, you are going to use the bond that we developed in school. You have to think hard about Silver as a Veela, picture her hair, her personality but overall picture the magic you felt when she was asleep and when she was hidden. When she was asleep, you had to find her Veela within her and use that to wake her up. When she was hidden, you had to locate her Veela magic. Now I want you to use what you learnt when she was hiding, find where she is storing it inside of her. Then, when you've found it use what you did to wake her as a way to bring her power forward and take over her body." Sirius nodded and grabbed Silvers hand, he closed his eyes and began holding his breath.

The room fell silent, around ten minutes had passed and Sirius was no closer to finding it than when he'd started. "I can't see it anywhere." Sirius groaned, Mcgonagall shook her head and encouraged the boy to keep searching. Another few moments passed, "I found it, but it's really hidden. It's not like before, how can I get it out?" Mcgonagall placed a hand on Sirius' shoulder and looked down at him. "You can do this, Sirius. Just remember what we practised." Sirius nodded and put all his effort in trying to pull her Veela up. His face grew red as he held his breath, putting all attention on Silver. As he did, the tips of Silvers hair had now changed from the black dull colour, to a faint sparkling silver. "It's working Sirius, keep trying." The boy nodded and continued to pull. Eventually, her hair returned to its natural silver state and her pale face lit up with enthusiasm. "You did it, Sirius. You brought her back." Mcgonagall congratulated the boy as he pulled Silver into a hug. The girl began sobbing into his neck, "I'm sorry, Sirius. I'm sorry." Sirius shook his head and began rocking the girl back and forth, hushing her as he did. "It's alright, Babe. You're alright, I've got you." Mcgonagall smiled down at the pair before quietly walking into the other room.
