*It only takes a moment from Hello Dolly, sung by ???*
Setting: Bar where Carl works & lives...Bailey appears at a seemingly bar, she watches her nephew for a moment as he dries and puts away clean glasses. She gives of a small smile at the sight of the man he's become, she watches as he starts to put the chairs on up on the tables and turns the sign from open to closed. It's as his back is turned that Bay accidentally drops a chair to the floor as she's removing it from the table. This causes Carl to spin around suddenly as he goes wide eyed at the sight of the chair seemingly move up right on its own. A creaking noise comes from it as Bay sits down and she watches him slowly, cautiously walk towards the "empty" chair...
"I'm pretty sure yer mamma taught ya that it ain't polite ta stare," she says, not yet showing herself and making him jump a foot in the air
"Aunt Bay?" He asks in a slightly shaken voice
"Well it ain't Casper-that's fer sure," she mocks with a laugh
"W-wha..." he starts
"Just checkin in," she tells him, her voice now coming from behind the bar as she pours herself a glass of scotch-still unseen, "on everyone."
"I just cleaned those," he complains as she sets two glasses down on the counter and he puts the chair back up on the table as she pulls down two bar stools, "and I just put those up."
"Take a seat," she tells him, "talk ta me," she adds as he does so, "tell me bout the underground network ya kids ave set up..."
"Uh-" he says taken a back by her words, "uh..."
"Or ya could tell me bout things with the Wolowitzs gal," she says now appearing before him with a serious look on her face, "where y'all think yer headin?" She asks him, "we already got two cases of teen pregnancy...Ace stepped up," she tells him, "the Wolowitzs boy backed down..."
"..." Carl remains silent
"But I'm sure yer network already knew all this," she adds in as she takes a sip of her whiskey
"How?" He questions as he watches her drink it and it not go through her
"One perk ta bein dead," she tells him as she puts the glass down on the counter, "don't gotta worry bout tolerance level," she finishes, "now, back ta ms. Hollywood."
He goes red in the face at the mention of Halley and his eyes dart up to the ceiling, avoiding her contact...
"She's waitin fer ya em upstairs in yer apartment right now-ain't she?" Bay asks with a smirk on her face as his eyes snap back to hers and he blushes harder, "oh please," she laughs, "y'all honestly think I wouldn't know? I'm a ghost; a guardian angel so ta speak-I check on ya all the time," she continues to laugh, "I know what ya get up ta, and I know ya two feel fer each other-"
"She's in college," he says cutting her off
"Yer point?" She asks him flatly, "ask er and wait till she's finished college."
"We aven't even been tagether that long," he argues
"Don't matter none," she tells him as a song come on over the jut box, "I love this song."
Carl's eyes snap to jut box that he could've sworn he had unplugged earlier and then looks back to the ghost of his aunt as she seems to sigh in a certain way...
"Ya look like yer daddy," she tells him, "was a piece of shit e was," she adds in, "y'all aren't," she goes on as the song seems to be on an endless loop, "y'all are better than im; y'all were raised right," she continues as she downs more scotch, "y'all need ta get some better scotch fer this place," she side notes, "put a ring on er before wind up aven a child outta wedlock."
