Setting: the church...

Bay arrives at the church, knowing she doesn't have much time left to get her job done; Bay finds her mother in the pews praying and starts feeling uneasy about what she's about to do. Bay vanishes from where she stands and appears seated next to her mother in the pew. Bay remains quiet so as not to disrupt her mother's prayer to god and ponders what exactly it is she's going to say to her mother...

"Thank you lord," Mary finishes her prayer with a sigh

"Don't worry, e hears ya mom," Bay says quietly

Mary's head snaps to the spot next to her and falls into shock at the sight of her deceased daughter; Mary just stares, taking in every feature as tears come to her eyes. Bay gives her weak smile and lets out a heavy sigh Mary's hand just goes right through her, causing Mary's own smile to falters and her eyes fall to the pew seat...

"I'm a servant of god now mom," Bay tells her, "so don't worry too much bout me..."

"..." Mary just smiles with pride

"I'm our family's guardian angel," she tells her mother, "but-I'm also an undertaker..."

"..." Mary's smile disappears to a look of worry

"I took Amy's life," Bay tells her, "and I just took Billy's...but-I'm not done yet, I still have one more soul to reap."

"Mine?" Mary asks her

"No, it's not your time yet," Bay tells her, "under normal circumstances, I ain't suppose ta show myself or warn people that someone they love is gonna be taken-"

"I understand," Mary tells her, "just tell me who it is."

"Herschel," Bay tells her wishing she didn't have to

Mary's head turns away from her daughter and looks to the statue of Jesus nailed to the cross on the wall above the alter-still looking worried...

"I'm sorry mom," Bay tells her quietly

"It's alright Bay," Mary tells her with a sigh, "I should consider myself blessed," she continues, "after all-not everyone gets a warnin from god."

"..." Bay only has a half smile as she give a single nod, "he'll be gone before ya get home...Missy, Sheldon and Barry are all on their own now with kids," she tells her, "they're gonna need help, but ya can't be in two places at once, nor can ya hold em all in yer house..."

"..." Mary looks back to her

"Neither Missy or Barry will wanna remarry," she tells her mother, "but I know the perfect second wife fer Shelly-I'll get im help with his rug-rats," she goes on, "with Carl out on his own, and Missy havin taken on another kid-"

"What?" Mary asks in surprise, "another one? I don't understand."

"Some one left a lil one on er doorstep," Bay tells her, "and Bobbi is with child," she adds in, "but she'll be outta the picture once it's born-due to the fact that she has proven ta be an inadequate mother ta my babies and wife ta my Barry-swirl."

"That's a shame," Mary sighs out, "but not surprising."

"What?" Bay asks surprised by her mother's words

"Even I saw that it wasn't gonna work," Mary tells her with a chuckle

"So Barry and Missy are gonna need major help," Bay sighs out, "but who?"
