Setting: where we last left Bay...
Warmth and sound embrace Bay once more as she goes to enter her mother's living room where the other three families are, only to be severely appalled by what she is told she must do next. This job was unruly at times due to the spontaneous tasks given to her onto of her already hectic and filled plate. She found it bearable when the task was to take the elderly, tolerating when she was to take parent from children, tedious when she had to take youth and insufferable when she had to take babes and the unborn. She felt sympathy for the families that she took any lives from-but did not care. When it comes to the recent tasks of reaping lives of her loved ones, however, it hakes her soul to the very core with unpleasantness-with the exception of her sister in law...
"If I must," she replies as the warmth and sound leaves once more
She appears before the three families consisting of six adults in the living room, she finds them all awkwardly sitting within the darkness of the room...
"So..." Bay starts as the lights turn on suddenly with her appearing, "where do y'all stand with what we last spoke of?" She asks them as they jump in surprise at her voice and the sudden light, "stay, or move?" She asks them, "or-other...ideas," they all say nothing but stare at her, "well?"
"..." still nothing from any of them
"Alright," she starts again, "guess we'll start with..." she says looking over them, "Hofstetters?"
"Ah-" Leonard starts nervously as he looks to Penny
"..." Penny look between all in the room, "we're moving here to Texas."
"Interesting," Bay says with a peaking smirk on her face as she looks to the rest of them, "and you Wolowitzs?"
"Well," Howard starts, "Bernie and I-"
"Stop," Bay cuts him off and they all look to her, "I'm sorry, but I have to stop you there."
"What? Why?" Bernadette asks in her usual squeaky voice, "he hasn't even told you our answer yet."
"I know," Bay replies simply, "but," she sighs out heavily, "unfortunately," she goes on, "Howard must make this choice alone."
"What?" They all ask her confused as her eyes never leave Bernadette
"But w-why?" Howard stutters out with a confused look
"..." Bay stays quiet for a moment in order to compose herself and not show emotion on her face, "because..." she starts slowly and choosing her words carefully, "her fate has..." she continues-find that there is no way to put it that wouldn't make it any less painful for them, "it's her time," she tells them with a clearing of her throat, "I must take er soul," she tells them flatly, "but I must wait until she's asleep."
"..." they all go quiet again as they stare at the ghost of their once friend with unreadable looks
"I don't choose whom I reap," she tells them simply, "I simply do as told," she continues, "I ain't gonna be the next Lucifer..." she adds in, "I'll come back to ya Howard," she tells them before looking to the third and final family, "Koothrappalis?" She asks, "what's your conclusion?"
"We're going to remain back to India," Erika answers simply
"We'll get Dalib applied for citizenship," Raj continues, "and hopefully enroll him in school as soon as possible."
